Pokémon global link was originally due to launch on March 30th, but due to the recent Japanese natural disasters that date was postponed.
The Global Link service will bring the Dream world to the recent Pokémon Black and White titles, where players can access the website and take part in mini-games to obtain rare pokémon with special abilities, or valuable items otherwise not obtainable in-game.

Until the Global Link launches, you can also visit the pokemon.com website and play a simple brick-break game, the reward is a rare Dream World Eeveelution, with an ability not normally found in game.
Playing the game, as well as the global link service requires a pokemon.com account.

EDIT: Also, I made an account a while ago to use the global link. I've played a few games, but most don't have a mute button!

it just seems shady. i've always been of the opinion that advertising and marketing shouldn't be directly targeted at children.

but this site is pretty sweet.

NEWS FLASH!

Pokemon Global Link secretly launches! Scratch my last post. The Global Link is live! Perhaps not fully functional, that's unknown at this point, but everything seems fine. Dream World here I come~

For some reason I can find a wireless connection for my DS Lite, but it refuses to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi.

So I can't get my Game Sync ID... this sucks..

EDIT: I think, after 2 hours of looking, the problem is that my router has security settings I can't quite configure. Plus it's my Dad's router and he won't let me turn the firewall off, even though I so did when he wasn't here, to try out a few other things. I think my DS is just outdated...

directly connect the ethernet to your computer, and then get into the router settings, and disable the security. it should disable internet for every computer but the one that's connected. you can then use the ds to get on the nintendo wifi.

i also won up to the platinum cup on the tcg minigame. it's been a productive day.

See now... I'm not comfortable doing that considering I didn't know what I was doing before and just kinda learned as I went. Plus it's my parents carp and I don't want to brake it and eff it all up. I'll ask Tony to see what he can do..

ok this is bullcrap: these were the easiest gym leaders ever. why did they each only have 3 pokemon? i'm thoroughly disappointed with how this went. this game should have been a lot harder.
