[Kamau]

(.... :D You'll make me a picture?)

Aikichi Splash: I really like the coloration in this picture. Aikichi looks so pretty! I guess it’s just been a really long time since I last saw a picture of her, because I hardly recognized her. XD I think I like her hair the best, but everything is so nice!

Tinge Splash: I remember this! Your coloring of it makes me chuckle. Was the random yellow splotch on purpose or did you put it there because something spilled? ‘cause it looks funny, but aside from that, I do like this picture. Not as much as the Aikichi one, but I do like it. Especially the chibi. :)

Aikichi Teasing Tinge: Tinge looks…very old in this picture. Probably because he is, considering the length of his horns, but still. I’m not sure I like it… :p I once again like how Aikichi came out. And yay, goggles! (I like how you managed to through the logo in there, too.) Her leg positions seem a little weird, though… And Tinge seems really skinny for the size of his head.

Pepe Knife Guide: So THAT’S where he keeps them all. Very nice. I like how most of them aren’t visible (yeah, I know that’s the point.) I’m assuming that this is mostly just for his knives and not him, ‘cause his neck is abnormally large. His outstretched hand looks strange, too… I like his braid.

Beatrix Fletcher: Oo, a picture to put to the back story. She looks very pretty – and kinda like you. XD I like her hair, and whatever that is on her upper arm. Nice background, too.

Ishbuu Walking: Hmm… I’m not sure exactly what it is, but something seems…strange about this one. Maybe it’s just the angle of her body…Or her back leg. I like her dress, though. And her hair.

Jared Proposing to Athena: Haha, this makes me laugh. Athena is very tiny compared to Jared, though. Makes her look like a little kid being surprised by a creepy stalker. But that’s beside the point, because I do like this picture. It’s very cute.

Possible Kaye Costume: Kaye seems emo in this picture (just her face). The costume is an interesting design; I like the top of the shirt. Not a huge fan on whatever it is that’s going on towards the bottom of it (does she shirt change colors, or does it flare open? ‘cause I like the idea of it flaring open, but the lacing obviously wouldn’t continue past where the shirt flared.). I like her wrist covers, and her belt.

Kenji ad Oriana: Holy what happened to Kenji? He looks like he was made from stone or something… I like his hair though, and I love how Oriana came out, as usual. I love her outfit (what I can see of it)! I also like how despite the red in the background, I can still grasp the hard-time feelings that would come with where they actually are. Oh, and I like Kenji’s wrist guards and his vest!

Moping Kite: Haha, when is he not moping? I like how this one came out, though. I like his hair – is it shorter than it normally is? It suits him. His outfit is nice, too; simple, yet effective. He needs to cheer up.

Miffed Luna: I think it’s because she’s almost entirely in blue, but… I don’t like this picture. :/ It’s too blue or something, or… I don’t know, it just almost looks strange. It’s a neat outfit, though. Just… too blue. Wonder which of the many things got her miffed, though. XD

Mermaid and Seal: Yay, such a cute seal! It’s adorable. :3 I like the mermaid, too; she’s very pretty. I like her hair.

Running Nitzaku: Ooh, such a pretty color! I like this much better than the orange I remember her in. You colored this one very nicely~. Her left arm seems very small, though. And she seems short. But I can see the emotion in her face! I really do like this picture.

Sighing Nitzaku: After seeing the last one, this coloring doesn’t faze me as much. XD I like her hair! And hehe, she has a butt. She looks like she has an extra finger, though, on the hand by her face.

Relaxed Age: Age! I haven’t seen you in forever! Your face looks weird, though. It looks like he melted a little and sloshed to his left.

Talk to the Hand: Haha, I bet Hayama or Hiro is the cause for that reaction. Her entire body and face screams ‘psh’, and it makes me chuckle.

Puffin: Aw, Puffin, you look like you haven’t slept in a week! No wonder you’re going ‘bah’. But cheer up!

Snowball Fight: YOU COLORED IT YOU COLORED IT YAAAY! I love this picture. So much. <3 And I love it even more now that it’s colored. <3 <3 PS, Luna’s winning.

Winter Storm: You colored this one tooooo~! I love Lucian and Ishida. :3 It’s so cute that he’s making it snow for her. Lucian could be, like, the master of romantic settings if he wanted to be. Heeeee. <3

And yeah, there are a TON of proportional issues. A lot of these were quick sketches or drawings I did to relieve nerves, such as the Running Nitzaku pic. The one that bothers me the most is the Jared and Athena one, really. I blame it on the fact that Jared was hanging upside down, and it's really awkward to draw people like that. :(

Seeing as how I just though of I pic I'd like to see you do, I had better get started commenting and critiquing.

Aikichi Splash - I like how this one turned out, especially the face and hair. It's hard to tell for sure since she's sitting, but the only nitpick I can think of is that her legs seem a bit too short. Still looks really good overall though.

Tinge Splash - The complete lack of black is unusual, but it doesn't look bad on account of that. I've never been any good at handstands, so I can't really comment on how that part looks. =p
The main "standing" picture is rather simple, but again, that doesn't make it bad by any means.

Aikichi Teasing Tinge - It makes me chuckle. Aikichi looks cute in this one, especially with the pigtails. Her lower legs look a bit too thin, but that might just be me looking too hard for things to point out. Tinge looks pretty good as well. Something about his face strikes me as odd, but I can't put my finger on it.

Pepe Knife Guide - Pepe...really likes knives, I see. o.o I like "technical" drawings like this for some reason. I can't think of anything to complain about except that his bangs seem to stick a little too close to his head in the front view, like he just came out of the rain or something. (Just noticed the braid as I started typing that; I was going to say that all of his hair seemed too close, but that explains the back and sides at least.)

Beatrix Fletcher - More short legs...unless those capris are just throwing me off. And it might just be the angle, but she looks super skinny around the waist. Otherwise I like it, especially the hair blowing in the wind.

Ishibuu Walking - I like the colors on this one, and just about everything looks great. Something about her legs bothered me when I first looked at it though (I seem to have a fixation on complaining about legs today). It's hard to say for sure, but it looks like her right leg is up and her left down; if that's the case, her shoulders are tilted the wrong direction. If all her weight is on her left foot, her left shoulder should be lower than her right. (I tried standing like that myself just to make sure...cuz I'm weird that way.)

Jared Proposing to Athena - First thought: Dang is she tiny. Or he's huge. Not sure which. Second thought: That must be killing his back. Third thought: Cute~. Fourth thought: Is he completely balancing himself like that on one hand, or is there a rope tied to his feet to keep him up? =p

Possible Kaye Costume - I dig it. Her eyes look a bit Asian, but given her last name, that could be intentional for all I know. Can't think of anything to complain about. :3

Kenji and Oriana - This one looks striking different from the others for some reason, perhaps the shading on Kenji's skin. *reads Kamau's comment about him looking like stone* I concur. I think I like this one for the most part. Even though it doesn't show, Kenji looks like he has a tiny right hand hiding behind that arm of his. I like Oriana's expression; it's somewhat hard to read since I don't know what's going on as well as Kamau seems to. =p

Moping Kite - The purple-hair dude! This one looks quite good, even if he is being mopey. =p Can't think of anything to point out that need improving.

Miffed Luna - I like the hair in this one. Then again, I have a thing for ponytails, so I may just be biased. The picture calls to mind something I read in a how-to-draw book where the author commented that a lot of people will leave the feet out of their pictures, which is not good to do because practicing drawing feet is always a good idea. Also, blue. (*suddenly can't stop thinking about the Happy Happyists from Earthbound*)

Hmm, a little over half done. I'll look at the rest of these after a while. Gotta get some homework done. *abstains from reading any comments Kamau made on pictures I haven't looked at yet*

Mermaid and Seal - This one looks nice. She looks very...content. And the seal is cute to boot. I was planning to comment on her elbows possibly bending the wrong direction, but I can't quite orient my arms properly to tell if that's right or not. =p
*tries harder* I'm about 70% sure she shouldn't be able to bend her arms that way with her hands facing that direction, but I'm no merman, so take that with a grain of salt.

Running Nitzaku - I'll give the proportion nitpicks a rest for a while since you already know they're there. I love the shading on her outfit in this one. And I like how the clothing around her middle is twisted, as though she's been checking behind herself periodically while running (or something along those lines).

Sighing Nitzaku - It looks less like a *sigh* and more like an, "Ugh, I'll explain one more time," kind of expression, but I like how it turned out none the less. Unfortunately, I can't think of another way to word this that properly conveys what I'm trying to say, but her groin seems a bit too high compared to the rest of her middle.

Relaxed Age - At first he just looked a little flat, probably just from the lack of shading and minimal creases in his clothing, but I think my main problem is his face. *reads Kamau's comment* Which Kamau describes quite colorfully. =p

"Talk to the Hand." - Super-long braid. o.o The splotchiness is definitely interesting. Can't decide whether I like it or not. Is she dissing someone really short, or are they just not worth the trouble of lifting her hand all the way up to their face? Still, I like it overall aside from the coloring that I'm still on the fence about.

Puffin Goes, "Bah" - Bah.
j/k I like this one. The face is a bit shadowy, but otherwise it looks quite nice. I'd like to comment on whether or not it looks like you, but I've not yet met you in person (webcam doesn't count), so I can hardly judge that.

Snowball Fight - Okay, these are...Hiro and Luna? Whichever characters they are, that redhead is no good at snowball fights. =p
Really, he looks like he's trying to be a target. Luna, on the other hand, is in good form.

Winter Storm - Very nice. The colors look great, and I like the magic effects on Lucian's hand. Are you making your eyes smaller than you used to? Ishida looks different from what I've seen before. It doesn't look bad by any means, just different from what I'm used to seeing.

Yup, Hiro and Luna! And haha, that's because Luna wins epically at anything snow related. Though, to be fair, she did ambush him, very sneakily...

The mermaid's elbows aren't bending, her arms are splayed out behind her with her elbows locked (which can give the impression of it bending just slightly in the opposite direction).
There is quite a bit wrong with Age's face. To be fair, this pic was done in about a few minutes at best. :p His eyes are crooked, off center, and his mouth and nose are a little too low on his face. So, yeah, I agree with you guys there. Also, coloring a whole ton of pics can get boring...That's why I tried to mix it up by coloring Kaye's pic in that splotchy fashion (my idea was to mimic the look of watercolors that bled too far). Honestly, Kaye probably just doesn't think anyone is worth her time to lift her hand fully.
Personally, I think once upon a time, Puffin looked like me... but now? not so much. I'm hardly flat chested, my hair is cut differently...I barely even wear a ponytail anymore. :p So, we'll go with a 'no' on whether or not Puffin looks like me.
And yes, I am trying to make my eyes look smaller (that's why sometimes my character's end up looking asian...*sigh*), that might be partially why Ishida looks different, but otherwise it could be a number of small things. I think her character design might be changing very gradually, though I'm not really doing it on purpose.

So, what's your request, Stars? :D

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the elbows. If it was within my power to do so, I would have taken a picture of myself swimming downward like that to check how they should look, but such a test was not available to me. =p

And I think perhaps Ishida looks a little bit older in that last picture as well. Not old older, just more mature.

I think she looks like she's in her early to mid 20s. :) That's what she looks like. And she looks very pretty~! So does Lucian. :3

So, five new pics! These were all basically drawn while I was still working on coloring the last set, so I haven't yet finished any requests.
The Faust attacking Tinge one is kind of 'eh', to be honest. The idea in my head was better than how it turned out on paper, since I think the whole thing looks a little stiff, but for some reason I just felt like drawing something scary and the like (even thought I don't think this would happen in the story...)
Oriana's costume is based off of what I drew her in for the Kenji/Oriana pic, probably would take place A:Dpt2, for Kamau's reference.
Oh yeah, and for any of those who were wondering how it'd be possible for Jared to be outside of Athena's window.... Well, the idea was that he was hanging off her roof outside her window, after which he does fall and break both his leg and arm and fractures quite a few things. Also, Jared is a little off kilter, if you're wondering why the frick someone would do that.
The dress design was just something I had an idea for, it might actually come to fruition, maybe not. Time will only tell. Oh, and SHE modeled for that pic (not that anyone, but Kamau would recognize her).
Finally, Zoe is from the same game as Beatrix Fletcher, from the last set, she's SHE's character. Beatrix's element was water, guess Zoe's! :D

Dress Design: Ooh, pretty. Is that a pirate outfit for you or Andi or something? I like the version on the right.

Jared II: Hahahahaha, I like it. And yay, she's the right height now!

Oriana design: Is that based off the picture of her and Kenji? 'cause I liked that outfit a lot. Yay top cloak. <3

Faust and Tinge: Very nice! I love Tinge's face. My only complaint is that Faust isn't looking down. XD But then again, he looks like he's threatening someone who's not Tinge soo.... It might still work. :p Faust is an awesome bad guy. :D

Zoe: Oh hay. She looks fun. I like her weapon! And her shirt.

I like the costume design for Oriana. Simple but with enough highlights to make it interesting.

I find it ironic that Zoe would have a poison/death(?) affinity when her name means "life." =p

Zoe is a death element, but she can also heal, so I guess her name meaning 'life' isn't too weird. Especially since her last name is Cimitiere, which could be taken as 'life and death'.
