does anyone know if i need any special program to be able to play ps2 games burned to a disc? i mounted the iso with daemon tools, but it didn't work.
On PCSX2 or on an actual PS2?
Could be a bad iso.

on an actual ps2. even using the iso in my desktop is not enough. i ended up just ordering the game i wanted, but there are a handful of others that are a lot harder to come by.

Matters on the PS2. PS2's can't play burnt games unless it's modded or soft modded. Back when I had one the easiest way was to do an independence exploit.
But you'd still need something like Action Replay or Swap Magic.

I have absolutely no interest in games developed for phones. I feel like they are all underdeveloped, lack any sort of "fun" and are only made because they can be pumped out quickly and cheaply for minimal turnaround times.http://www.joystiq.c...-thursday-may-2
Star Command is coming out soon.

Or, to put it more politely, "Neener neener."

You clearly have never played a Kairosoft game.
Which this takes inspiration from.
Also I just completely disagree with you. Some games are like that. But I love everything Kairosoft does as well as a bunch of others (like Cut the Rope).

Looking past the narrator and the cliche anime-ish stuff going on in this video, the battles look beautiful:

I wish Ni No Kuni was like that.

Yeah...not digging the narrator. That in-game animation is pretty impressive though.
the running animation left something to be desired, did you noticed that only the hair was swapped out for that other character around 1:25?

I did notice, but that was the same person with a different personality in control. And for some reason her two personalities have different hair colors.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

Even though it's a year old, I somehow missed that this was a thing.
I wish I still didn't know...
