All the talk of getting rid of people who might be murderers was making Stars uneasy again. Unable to take any more of it, he spoke up, "I don't think we should throw anyone out right now; it would be terrible if we killed someone innocent by mistake. I'm in favor of staying in one group tonight with at least three people at a time staying awake to keep watch, maybe even more." He looked down the hallway that Fillmore and Jody had left through. "And regardless of whether he's guilty or innocent, I don't think Fillmore should be left on his own, especially with a knife..."

"Heeeeeeeeeey guys," he yawned loudly. "What's u---HOLY SHIT WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE!?"
He looked around, quite astounded by the sight before him. "Right, so, well. What's going on? Can someone explain any of this to me?"

"OHMEG!" he screamed at the top of his lungs. "OKAYSOLIKEALLTHECOUNCILOURSDIEDANDONLYTHESTUDENTSARELEFTALIVEANDONEOFUSAREC

Odon paused and gasped for breath.

Odon huffed and puffed looking around the room.
"Oh. . and I'm agreeing that Gennifur is an extremely likely suspect. She needs to be cross examined."
Another gasp of air. "And I've found that Kamau is trying -too- hard to act innocent. Might want to look into that."
He looked around wide eyed, then realized what he'd just said.
"OHHHHHMEEEEEGAAWWWD I'M GONNNA DIIIIIIIIEEE!"
Odon dashed off again, tears streaming from his eyes.

"I'm not exactly saying that we sit here and do nothing. Of course something has to be done; we don't want to just get killed off. I'd just rather we all not make decisions that hurt more people than we need to hurt. In the end it's going to be our numbers that decide whether or not some of us survive. I'd rather that number be everyone here minus the killer."

The tension had grown thick, and it began to undermine all bonds between the students. Anger and fear were high on the air. Mr. Bear stepped up again to regain control of the slowly thinning numbers.
"Everybody! Settle down. It's probably be best that we keep ourselves together for the night. Let's just keep settled. People will be free to sleep in whatever groups they choose- I no longer have the wisdom nor the authority to decide or enforce the sleeping arrangements here. But we should rest ourselves quickly."
((This is winding down the day. Work out where you snooze. Default will be the assigned beds))

“Besides that, you talk like the murderer is on some sort of quota. I didn’t know that killing someone worked off a clock. For all we know no one else will be murdered or the killer will run in here with a bomb and kill us all at once. I think our best bet is to try and stick together like we’ve been saying all along and don’t leave any opportunities for something else to happen.”
“So yeah, I’m going to have to agree with Stars on this one.” BG walked over to stand next to Stars that he was casting his lot with him. “If we can get the vast of majority of us to stay together tonight and then keep watch in groups, there won’t be any time we aren’t protected. If the murderer tries to pull something still we’d have three or four awake and hopefully able to stop them or identify them.”
Not "conspiracies". Conspiracy. Singular.

[Second Night]
However, one would not sleep, ever again. His tortured cries and screams of madness and insanity beckoned him through the halls of the Snowside Resort, now a prison to the sheepish students.
He screamed, and he ran, trying to escape nightmares that were twising themselves into more of a reality with each passing twilight.
And so he ran. Around the basement, Odon leaped, and dashed to and from, failing to calm himself. And with a mighty distressed panic he found himself urged to the Subzero containment room. The chilled air puffed out of the room, the door propped open by a yard stick that wedged itself towards the bottom of the steel door frame. Frost crept forth, wrought by the frigid icy cylinder samples that had been stolen from the bowels of the glacier below.
He the distressed was lost, however, as he ran unknowingly about, his leg caught on the yard stick, and he was flung forward, crashing into a metal shelf. They yard stick flew, with his own momentum over him, and the force of his own weight against the shelf slighted a tremor, disrupting the balance of the samples. Glass crashed and ice older than most buildings of the world shattered around him, though he was spared, in his panic, coiled into a ball, only scrapes befelled him.
However, one floor above, Kamau had unknowingly stepped into a different trap, as he shifted under the covers, snuggling to the electric blanket, and fearing the night to come. Such a fear proved baseless, as he would not see the rest of that night. The pressure pad hidden underneath his mattress activated with his weight. The trigger snapped, and a string secretly traced around his bed pulled taut. Tied to the base of the elegant stone-carved lamp that rested on his night stand, the string pulled, and the lamp gave, tipped over on to his face, and was stuck there by the tension of the string, wrapped around his matress, binding it, and the lamp together, sandwhiching Kamau in between. The base of the lamp fell against Kamau's mouth as he gasped in astonishment, and he was left immobile. The lit lamp, and the electric blanket, oddly set to the highest power, slowly cooked Kamau as he struggled against the wire wound around his bed. Charged by the heat of the electrics tied to him, his body would not survive the night.
Meanwhile, below, though Odon had survived the tremor of the shelf of ice, the yard stick no longer held open the door of the Subzero containment room. As he hid from the shards, the metal door slid shut, and locked quietly from the outside. Trapped in below zero temperature, he too, would perish before the night's end.
One by fire, one by ice, they slowly faded.

Slipping out of bed, Jody walks to the door and peeks out. Not seeing anyone in the hallway yet, she steps out of her room and looks around. Knocking on the doors around her (101, 102, 104, and 105) she waits anxiously to see how many of her classmates will wake up this morning.
