Fillmore looked down, "I Guess you're right... But my best friend died. It's hard to not go off the wall. I know I may have acted crazy tonight, but I just need to see some justice. I can't let Mindfizzle's death go unanswered. I just can't."

Jody steps up from the crowd nervously. "Please, this is so unnecessary! Why is Fillmore even on trial? To see if he has legit reasons for accusing Kamau, or if he killed someone? He obviously didn't, he's been with us the whole time! And last night when we all went to bed, we were banging it up in our room! I'd know if he left, and he didn't. I don't know how that stuff got in Kamau's room, but Fillmore didn't do it because he's been with us the whole time. He also didn't kill anyone, and I know that for a fact. And on the slim chance that he did, it sure as hell wouldn't be Mindfizzle!"

"Jody's right! If I were gonna kill anyone it would be Kamau! Kamau killed Mindfizzle and needs to die for this crime! KAMAU MUST DIE! VOTE KAMAU DIE!"

Bear sighed and shook his head. This was going nowhere again.
"...People. Yeah, this is fruitless. Fine. All in favor of Fillmore being removed from the resort will say ((Post, PM or IM to me)) "Aye". All opposed, "Nay"

"Before you vote, I just have one thing to say! I don't know why I'm on trial here! I guess I could understand wanting to question where I found that evidence, but you're really thinking of putting me out just for believing Kamau did it? For believing my friend told the truth before he died? Odon has gone around screaming about Charmonker and Genifur all day, but we're not putting him out, are we? Perhaps I may have gone overboard. But I only said what I believed, what I needed to say. Mindfizzle told me it was Kamau. Before he died he was a goofy guy, but the one thing he told me with utter certainty was that it was Kamau. He wouldn't lie about that, and even he wouldn't try to joke like that. He knew Kamau was the murderer, and as far as I can see, Kamau killed him for it. If Kamau doesn't die tonight, I'm gonna die. I guess the question is, someone who's been accused of being a killer, or someone who's accused that same person? Who dies tonight?"

Fillmore walked out of the room, obviously not wanting to hear the deliberations.

"Oh like we can believe anything that she has to say," BG commented rolling his eyes. "If you two were really "banging" last night, which I highly doubt, then she'd be the most attached to you. Of course she wouldn't want you in the spotlight! Since you two appear to be an item of course you're going to watch each others backs. You say there was no way that he could have killed Mindfizzle last night but the thing is the person didn't need to. He fell on a nail which was placed their god knows when. He could have set everything up before you two went off together."

"As for him being your friend that hardly stands up. The most prevelant and vicious killers end up killing their parents, other family, friends, girlfriend, they kill the people close to them. With all the eratic behaviour you've been displaying who's not to say you aren't unstable. You're being a bloody pain to everyone and putting us all in danger with you shit. Now I don't want you to die but I don't want you to get us killed either. You're going to have to act less on emotions if you want us to beleive you and your accusations, otherwise we're back to where we started."

"The votes are in," Bear announced after several minutes more.

"...And Fillmore... will stay with us for a while longer at least."

He breathed a sigh of relief, and dropped a slip of paper with the votes tallied, 4-2.

"I have to agree with BG. For all we know you could have done it. And if you didn't do it why must we blame Kamau? You say you found the box of nails and the banana in his room right? But doesn't Kamau share a room with someone? Silvercrow. So for all we know. It could be Silvercrow."

Fillmore exhaled loudly. "So I live another night. Jody, I would suggest you stay away from me tonight. It's likely I'm gonna die." Fillmore walked slowly to his room, grabbing a knife from the kitchen on the way.

Running after Fillmore, Jody grabs his free hand. "No, I'm coming with. I don't know who to trust, and who not to trust. I want to be with you, just in case something does happen..."

Walking away to her room with Fillmore, Jody tosses a last glance over her shoulder at her classmates. "Be careful tonight. Good luck..."

[BottomGuy]

"Just be careful," BG called after them, "We don't need you stabbing someone going to the bathroom tonight."

Exasperated, BG ran his hand through his hair as he turned to the others. "Aside from her 'good luck' comment creeping me out, we have any further ideas for how to stay safe tonight?"

[Puffin]

"Stay together and don't let anyone out of our sights?" Puffin offered with a shrug, though he didn't think it mattered, for all they knew the murderer could have set a trap already to get someone else. After thinking on that he added, "Also, remember to keep an eye out for anything suspicious."

[Lycanth]

Lycanth piped up from the group. "...If I may offer my two cents.

"Yesterday was indeed an interesting day. Mindfizzle was a little loud, he said a lot of things to a lot of people. He told Odon--albeit inadvertently--that Genifur did it. He told Fillmore that Kamau did it. And..."

Lycanth tossed a piece of paper on the table, a transcript of a conversation:

"...He told me that that it was Genifur and Kamau."

Lycanth began pacing. "This means a lot. It means that Mindfizzle has a distinct idea of who did what. He claims to have witnessed the original murder. If he spoke the truth, the jig is already up. If he lied, we're in deeper shit than we thought.

"But there's one thing I know. He said who did it and was immediately silenced. As Bear said, that means that either the murderers were driven by fear, or the murderers killed him to make those he accused look more guilty."

Lycanth stared hard at the group. "I know it sounds a little grim, but... We have to kill someone or we're just letting them continue to kill us. And furthermore, a lot of questions will be answered if we kill Kamau or Genifur, but at the same time, there will be a lot of bad blood if we kill Kamau and they turn up innocent."

Lycanth pinched the bridge of his nose, appalled that he was suggesting they murder someone, then looked back up. "Therefore, we can cover a lot of distance if we kick out Genifur. I hate to be the one to say it, but this is a kill or be killed situation, and standing around pointing fingers is not going to kill the murderers. I hate this idea, and I hate this whole situation, but we have to do this! If Genifur is a murderer, it's extremely likely Kamau will be the other. If Genifur is not a murderer, the credibility of many claims--and many people--will change. And furthermore..." Lycanth looked at Kamau. "I talked with several people about all this. Your friends and mine. Stars, Monkey, Bear, and Puffin. I hate to be accusing you, but... If you're innocent, you have nothing to fear voting for Genifur."

Genifurr was shocked to what Lycanth had to say. "I don't know where your going with this, but how do you know exactly if Mindfizzle was correct? What if he was wrong. Just telling you someone he didn't like, like me or Kamau? Maybe HE was telling you someone so you can think that it was ME or Kamau and really he screwed you and everyone else over to make you guys get killed. One. By one. You just can't accuse me or Kamau with no evidence. Do you have evidence that it was me? I came on this trip to get away from my family and now I'm being accused of murder. What is that?"

Eyre moved a little closer to Lycanth in hopes of at least stopping his pacing.
"Hey now. Let's not jump to any conclusions right away. We barely know anything and at this point everyone is accusing their friends for things they may be innocent for. I think we all need to just take a quick second to relax and clear our heads of anything crazy."

[Odon]

Odon came screaming through the hall again.
"MALLLLARRRRDS SCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRYYYYYYYY~!!!!"
Then he dissapeared through another door.

[Lycanth]

Lycanth slammed his hands on the table. "If we wait until we have significant evidence, they'll have had enough time to kill us ten times over! This is the only way we'll be able to learn anything definitive! Until someone procures a crystal ball or time travel device, this is all we can do to progress. It's grim, but if we don't do it, we're just giving them free reign to kill us."

[Hyperlisk]

"Lycanth... Anyone can say anything. As a matter of fact, you know what, I'm the spy. And you know who did it? You and Mindfizzle! Who needs evidence? I said I'm the spy, therefore, it MUST be true! Right? I mean, that's basically what Mindfizzle did.

In other words, hard evidence is needed before we accuse anyone."

[Lycanth]

"And just how do you propose we get hard evidence? We gotta kill someone to tell if they're a killer or not. It's a catch 22. We want as many people to walk away from this as possible, but in order to do so we have to end lives."

[Hyperlisk]

"It's called staying together. As someone said earlier, if we are all together, someone would HAVE to see something happen."
