Jody looks at the evidence in Lazlo's hand, covering her mouth in surprise. Looking at Kamau slowly, she finds that she can't help but find this pretty hard evidence. Pointing at Stars, she yells, "Shut up! What the hell do you know! I trust Lazlo, he wouldn't plant something to convict someone for murder! Back off!"

"What then? Are you saying that he's right, and Kamau killed Mindfizzle?"

[lazlo falconi]

"Charmonker I spent the whole first day in my room and most of today. But I didn't see no peel-less bananas. Or a box of nails. And Arutha! HOW DARE YOU! How dare you accuse me?"

[Jody]

"I don't know what to think! I trust Fillmore more than Kamau, standing around all doe-eyed and innocent! You've got to be kidding me, he can't even defend his case or say where he's been! He just says it wasn't him! Besides that, Fillmore has no reason to set up Kamau. He has nothing to gain from such a random accusation."

[Arutha]

"Why did you have the stuff in your pockets, pretty suspicous if you ask me...."

[lazlo falconi]

"Convienient storage, how else was I supposed to carry it here without Kamau knowing I'd found it? If he had seen me in the hallway with these, he surely would have killed me! But it's too late now, the jig is up, and if we don't kill Kamau tonight I'm surely gonna die." Fillmore muttered under is breath and sat down next to Mindfizzle's body, stroking his hair.

((To be honest, I'm not sure about the legality of this "It really wasn't me stuff" from OOC. I'm just going to ignore it for now, and others can do the same. Pulling such hard evidence from there is questionable as is, but not against the rules, however, you're now facing the potential backfire risk, Fillmore. That's something you should've considered first. And it's not something you can negate with an OOC statement.))

"EVERYONE!" Bear shouted suddenly.
"Let's stop. Before the tension causes us to kill each other."

"Listen to me now. Who do we want to interrogate? Kamau? Or Fillmore?"

[Arutha]

"we were all in the common room someone would of seen her run off following you plus me and BG were right behind you cause you couldn't seem to wait to follow the group rule we had all agreed to!, I think we should interrogate Fillmore!"

"I couldn't be sure of that. Besides, how do I know you're not in cahoots with him? Defending like that. So what. You want to throw me out tonight? Is that what you want? THROW ME OUT SO KAMAU CAN KILL AGAIN? THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I AM NOT THE KILLER KAMAU KILLED MINDFIZZLE KAMAU MUST DIE KILL KAMAU DEAD VOTE KAMAU DIE KAMAU NEEDS TO DIE TONIGHT THROW KAMAU OUT INTO THE STORM LET THE PENGUINS EAT HIM DIE KAMAU FOR YOUR SINS YOU CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO KILL AGAIN."

"Fillmore is the one who wanted a trial. Why don't we question him first so he can prove he didn't do it before he continues to accuse others."

[lazlo falconi]

"I agree. A trial is the logical way to do this. We'll add together all of the evidence we've found, which seems to point towards Kamau, and see who we think needs to leave."

[Kamau]

Kamau listened with a falling heart as the accusations started up again. This time, even Jody, who had defended him earlier, seemed to be accepting the items that Fillmore brought from... his room? That was what Kamau didn't understand... but he was afraid to speak up. If he did, would people think he was just trying to avoid the blame, if he tried to say they weren't his? The thought terrified him. If he tried to defend himself, as Jody claimed he should be trying to do, wouldn't people just say he was making excuses? Wasn't that how these things tended to work?

Still, if he didn't... "I-I still don't see why you insist it's me," he said, stammering at first, but slowly growing a tiny bit more confident. So many people were backing him up... "I don't know where you got those nails from, o-or, if they're really from my room, then why they're in there, but... If you got them from my room, then that means the door was unlocked, since you left before I could give you the key. W-which means someone else could have put them there, e-especially if they were just behind the door... you could have. O-or you could have even just pretended to find them there in the first place. A-and as for why I haven't been around, i-it's an educational field trip, isn't it? I didn't know anything had happened until I arrived and you a-accused me."

"It seems the majority have decided that Fillmore will be tried. So let's start. Does anyone want to lay out primary accusations, or should I begin?"

Bear waited for a while, but no one spoke.

"Alright, then. Let's start with some things Kamau said. If you didn't have a key, just how did you get into her room when it was locked?"

"It wasn't. Go look in the hallway, when everyone heard the commotion of Mindfizzle's body being found, they must have ran out of their rooms. Most of the doors are unlocked, some are open completely. I still want to know why the banana was in Kamau's room! The least he could have done was eaten it!"

[Amethyst]

"Well, perhaps it was left uneaten by -someone- to serve as evidence for incriminating someone else. There's nothing to suggest that the banana matches the offending peel."

Fillmore, with reality settling in, looked around the room, frightened, "Wait.. Wait a minute, you guys don't seriously think I could hav.... The man was my best friend! Why would I have killed him?"

[BottomGuy]

"And you expect us to believe a banana fit inside a box of nails? That's like shoving a square through a round hole. Plus, no one saw you get this evidence. If you had just waited all of two seconds for Arutha and myself to come with you we could have seen you get the evidence and justified it. Instead you ran off by yourself. You've been doing nothing but going off the handle and ruined any chance of us finding any definent evidence because you're paranoid about all of us, as if we're all against you. If you can't work with us why should we believe you?"

[Amethyst]

"Yet you're so quick to attack and blame Kamau for it, with no evidence other than the supposed Spy Mindfizzles' words?

So here is my reasoning:
Perhaps Mindfizzle was the spy, and his claims were true. Then he was killed to be silent. That's a poor move by the killers though, because it shows their need to silence him, thus proving that he is right.
However, suppose that he was wrong, and the real killers who were not Kamau killed him to make it look as if he was right that Kamau was the killer. Kamau would have been framed.
Fillmore could have killed him to place the blame on Kamau, if he was really the one who murdered the staff, he might have done anything to protect the truth.
So it really just depends on this- Are the killers smart or dumb? If they were dumb, then Mindfizzle was right. If they were smart, he was wrong.

"And why would Kamau kill him for that matter?" Puffin said, raising an eyebrow, "I think the general idea is that whoever did it isn't exactly sane anymore. Besides, out of everyone you've been the most violent and the easiest to upset."
