Popular Fiction will cover things like sci-fi/fantasy and mystery books instead of "serious fiction" like Pride & Prejudice. ^_^

My Film & Lit. teacher from the fall told me that Irish Literature is an interesting course and that the instructor for it is nice. Other than that, I know nothing about it. My classes will start on the 19th.

So instead of Pride and Prejudice you'll get to read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies?

Fun.

I'm taking one online course.
Cultural Anthropology.
Due to the baby coming soon I didn't want to travel to campus and waddle around like a fat ball of fat.

Like Tony I'll be working otherwise.

I am far too much of a nerd. I skipped Calc 3 and Physics 1,2,3 because I had taught myself these subjects over the break and therefore placed into upper level classes.

I changed my schedule to this:

MA220: Linear Algebra
PC341: Analytical Mechanics
PC367: Astrophysics
PC/MA311: Vector Analysis (Calculus 4)

Dropped out or kicked out?

A little bit of both. I coulda appealed and tried to get back in, but I didn't care enough. I'ma apply next year as a new student I think, with a different major too. I'ma switch to Graphic Communications.

If you're going to apply as a new student, why don't you apply as a new student to PSU with me and Bear?

Because California > Oregon

California has no money, water, gas costs more money (AND I HAVE TO PUMP IT), and makes me pay sales taxes. I don't see how California > Oregon.

Unfortunately, I'm actually not, which is why I'm going to die this semester. The worse part is that I'll be the only freshman in all of my classes. I hope the upperclassmen are nice :3

Also, Oregon > California by far.

And just because you apply to Cal Poly again doesn't mean you'll get in.

Because California had money when you applied, now they don't. CSU's now have a very very very low acceptance rate for people who don't claim residence in the immediate area of the college.

The likely hood they'll accept you again, while not living in the area, and expecting money to go there...very low.

EDIT:
AND GOD only knows if they'll accept ANYONE next year. Some of the CSUs just aren't taking Freshman in general, no matter what term.

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo is difficult to get into already, but with the added pressure of the economic crisis it'll be far worse for the next generation of students. I'm pretty sure I heard anticipated average GPA for admissions is around 3.7 for one of the lower CSU's, which is pretty crazy.

i just had my first english 122 class today. its full of stoners and other losers that couldnt get into real college, so they go to my school. our homework was to write about ourselves on a notecard, but i did it super fast, and spent the rest of the period designing the greatest supervillian ever: AutisNick.
