Two mile rule. Minimum pass time of 50/100 pts is 16:30. At the end of basic training I ran a 12:51 for 9 seconds under the 100 pt time, but I weigh 20-25 pounds more than I used to, and it's all upper-body weight. And well, two years have gone by and I haven't had anything to keep me in shape.

I don't know that I've ever truly run a mile. My miles are more like run-for-a-bit-then-walk-the-rest-while-holding-my-side. Yay for asthma and 8-minute miles.

Running is pretty easy though. In like one week I went from taking almost 20 minutes to run a mile and a half to doing it it about 12. Just run at least half a mile every day, and 2 miles at least three times a week and you'll get there before you know it. It also helps to have someone else to run with, if you can manage it.

I do have someone to run with, and a path we like to take that's probably like 4 miles. maybe even five. we went in the car once to see how long exactly, but I don't recall the exact number.

But bad news rears its ugly head. I rolled my right ankle AGAIN (that's 3 times in total) and I've got it iced right now. I was trying to catch a city bus, since the drivers are asshats and I can't count the number of times I or other people have been left behind by the bus despite being within feet of the door and obviously and visibly to the driver trying to get to the bus. Fuckers. I even got refused passage by one particular female sanitary bag for having a near empty sprite can in my hand. He's the only one who's done that, and I've brought soda cans with me on many occasions, open and drinking them.

Sounds like a LOT of sweating. So what were you doing biking around so much anyways?

2. I was biking with my best friend for almost all, if not all of those biking hours
D. I like biking, it's prolly my favorite sport, swimming comes next.

Just took my midterm today in Linear Algebra! I feel great about it. I feel that I definitely made it in the A range, but because I answered the extra credit questions possibly above 100%. Required all five hours to take it, but I felt that I needed to take my time and approach each problem carefully.

It's the way my school works. One class at a time for 3.5 weeks, then we get a vacation, and then we start a new class for another 3.5 weeks. For being so unorthodox it's surprisingly effective in most disciplines.

Sounds like an 8 week course, but that's normally for PE classes.
