The Modern Warfare 2 campaign is pretty intense. Very fun.

Quite so. I'm just playing it on Regular, and it's kicking my butt.
There be no willy-nilly running and gunning allowing in this game, no siree Bob.

Do any of you other PS3 peeps have Modern Warfare 2? I'm looking for someone to do the Spec Ops with (and of course multiplayer, should the opportunity arise).

EDIT: Although when I think about it, that might be kinda awkward without a headset since we'd each just be doing our own thing. Still, multiplayer?

No PS3 for me, else I'd play (but I suck at FPSs).

Currently playing Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria (Undubbed =/ ). I rather enjoy it ... so many things to customize, and the battle system is quite awesome. My only complaint so far is that they give you so many people, I dunno who I should be trying to level up. I fear I'll get some people really good and then they'll leave.

I sort of do. I own the PS3. My friend owns the game. My little brother owns the 360 version. I own the 360. >.<

I'll let you know when I'm gonna go visit my friend/reclaim my PS3. I forget, how many people can do campaign in online coop? Just 2, or up to 4?? I've not thought about the game at all since I can't play it till tomorrow, when I go back home and have access to my 360, leaving my ps3 in this state.

The campaign itself is strictly single player, but you can do two player co-op on the spec ops missions (and it's requires for some of them).

I keep a list of games I own but have never finished (Psychonauts included). It's kinda terrible how many titles are on it.

Was playing MW2 (360). Soon to be MW2 (PS3) this sunday, perhaps tomorrow (saturday). So yeah, off to kill the shit out of people with Dr. Wily this sunday. Also, I played MM2 and couldn't get through to metalman. Damn you wily. >.> Oldschool megaman is hard as hell.

I've been playing Legend of Heroes for the PSP. I've decided that even though its storyline is intriguing, it is possibly the worst officially translated video game I've ever played.

I've actually never beaten an old school Mega Man game, which makes me sad. I can usually beat all the robot masters, but the final levels are crazy.

And Sunday...isn't the best day for games for me. Gotten finish my last story rewrite and do a take-home essay test. for Monday.

I'm in the same boat actually. I haven't even beaten MM2 3rd wily stage even on the easier difficulty.

... I kinda forgot to ask/look for your PS gamertag in any case. Anyways, mine's the same as my name, as it's usually never taken. Lol, I got some great laughs running around and beating up people and actually not dying with the riot shield. XD Must have made some guys mad. Lol at the silly snipers with all the running perks on. They'd try to turn tail and outrun me. It would work but i'd just switch to secondary and mow 'em down as they ran. I tend to be a good distraction too. =D Riot shield is the only reason I got the commando pro.

I got the juggernaut and riot shield emblems, along with two related titles I can't remember right now. Still. Famas is my favorite weapon right now. It's the new M16... until I unlock the M16 at lvl 40 or whenever the hell that is. v_v The only annoying thing I can see getting in the way of full mastery of the Famas is the shotgun attachment. >.> Althought I guess I could work around it by using Bling and putting the heartbeat detector on it.

I still haven't played online, but I'm up to level 30-something in my splitscreen profile, so I've gotten to play around with most of the perks and several weapons. Riot Shields are indeed fun, but I'm looking forward to trying out Marathon + Lightweight + Commando with a tactical knife online. I've heard some great stories about that setup. :3

Well, that's way above my current level. I have no idea what the tactical knife is like. Is that the russian knife that shoots out the blade? Nor do I know what bonus the pro version of Bling gives (since I've never even used Bling). Commando pro just lets you jump off shit without getting hurt. Huzzah.

Also... is it just me or are the guys on the PS3 network way easier to beat than the 360 guys or is it just me? It seemed the same way for CoD4 too...

I couldn't say which users are easier since I've never played it on 360. =p

Bling Pro lets you have a second attachment on your secondary weapon. A tactical knife is a pistol "attachment" (you basically hold a knife and a pistol at the same time, so you can knife people faster). I've heard that if you have Commando and a tactical knife, it looks to your target as though you teleport at them when you attack. :3
I tried finding a picture of the tactical knife stance but to no avail. But you can see what it looks like if you go to Spec Ops and play the stealthy Alpha mission in the snow. If I remember correctly, your sidearm in that mission comes with a tactical knife.

EDIT: As for the WiiWare demos I downloaded:

NyxQuest was kinda interesting but I don't think I'll buy it. The art style was nice, but the demo level was far too empty aside from one or two interesting set pieces. The godly powers thing was an interesting idea but not enough to sell the thing to me.

Bit.Trip Beat was nice and psychedelic, but it was very much not a rhythm game like it claimed to be. It feels more like an elaborate single player Pong with some groovy music and lots of bright colors. It was fun for a few minutes, but won't be buying this one either.

Pokemon Rumble on the other hand...I'm also not buying. I liked the idea for a while, but it quickly grew dull and uninteresting. The thing is simply too easy; it's like a slow paced hack-n-slash with some over-simplified Pokemon mechanics thrown in for kicks.

I haven't tried World of Goo on the Wii yet, but the demo I got from Steam was quite fun.

I have no intention of bothering myself with FFCC: My Life as a Dark Lord.
