I've been playing Breath of Fire IV lately...

I have no real reason as to why. It honestly kind of sucks, it just holds a nostalgia value for me.

I've been playing Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. It's an interesting game, and I adore the graphics in the cutscenes. It's such a great improvement from some of the other games I have for the DS.

Played some of that last week. I borrowed it for about half an hour from my friend, along with his DS. It's a shame the "3-D" rendering leaves everything blocky... Oh well.

But... I've mostly been playing Castle Age on Facebook. =. Oddly addicting.

And, I leave you with this.

Most Facebook games are, and are evil.

I beat Portal: Still Alive yesterday...playing through the challenge maps. I tried playing Gears of War but so far I don't much enjoy it. Buuuuuuuut that's just because I haven't given it much time nor is it something I ever really enjoy playing.

That sounds interesting, I'll check it out. The only Facebook game I play is this Pirates crap, and that's only because Lazlo's mom wanted me to be on her team or whatever so that we could crusade against Lazlo's grandma (a.k.a. her mother in law). Haha! I love his family. <3

This is not the greatest signature in the world. No, this is just a tribute...

Couldn't remember the greatest signature in the world. Yeeaaah, NO! This is a tribuuute! Ohhhhh. To the greatest signature in the world! All right! It was the greatest signature in the world all right.

And the peculiar thing is this, my friends. The signature I made on that fateful night didn't actually look anything like this signature! This is just a tribute. You've gotta believe me, and I wish you were there. Just a matter of opinion. Ah, fuck! Good God, God lovin'. So surprised to find you can't stop it. All right! All right.

I'm an fps person. I HATE gears of war. Don't feel bad if you can't make yourself like a game in which you can only see in the dirt portion of the light spectrum.

My friends started me on BN2. BN3 was definitely my favorite though. And as I said somewhere else around here *grumbles as he looks for the topic*, SF3 goes a long way towards redeeming the series (mainly by making it a lot more like BN3). Why did they sacrifice quality for a shitty battle system just because it's in 3D?

3 and 6 are the only one's I've played, along with Battle Chip Challenge which was lame. Six doesn't seem much worse, but really I ignore the story and just go where I need to so I can fight stronger viruses. The battle system is the only reason to play these games.

Chip Challenge was stupid.

I honestly think the first two are the best games in the series. I very much enjoyed 2. Everything after three was bleeeeh.

I've played all six, beaten 3, 4 and 5, and 3 is with out a doubt the superest. 2, eh, I've heard it was really good too, but I couldn't get into it, if only because I kept comparing it to the TV show.

Uhh...why?

And it's hard for me to pick between 3 and 2, but 2 is better just because it wasn't split up stupidly...and I remember enjoying a few things more about it.

Why compare? It wasn't really a conscious decision. Just the part of NT Warrior that I saw happened to be BN2's storyline- and so I kept thinking about that. Which was in some regard disappointing every time the game diverged from the show.

Then I should be grateful I was done beating the game by the time the show came out... and could never catch the show anyways. I liked the show battles, but there weren't enough of 'em and the rest of the story was pretty much something that even 4kids wouldn't edit for content. If you know what I mean >.>

I had Lumberjack and a couple other friends over last night to break in Modern Warfare 2, which was awesome. We're all still terrible at FPS'ing with dual-analog controls since all four of us are used to mouse+keyboard for such games, which only served to make things hilarious. We constantly bumped into each other and performed what I have dubbed the "knife dance," in which two players engage in frenetic melee attacks without hitting anything for several seconds. =p We also can't aim very well when someone runs around a corner and scares both people. It was great fun.

And since Lumberjack just bought a 360 this week, he brought it over with his copy of DJ Hero. After a demonstration, I tried the thing and found it to be quite funky. That crossfader was nearly as hard for me to get used to as the bass pedal on the Guitar Hero drums (though not quite as bad). I'd play it again, given the chance, but it's not something I would buy for myself.

-thumbs up- I just beat the Nancy Drew game my sister got me for my birthday, Nancy Drew: Warnings at Waverly Academy. I thought it had some of the most developed characters yet, though there were a few whacky twists in this game. I can't wait for the next one -- I'll be part of a stormchaser team!
