I asked them and they said they probably won't allow for more than 18 people. I can call and ask but it doesn't seem super likely.

 

So if I book this now, I need confirmation on who is going now, and then anyone else would have to be put on a waiting list if people drop out. Or we find a bigger place.

 

The 18 people I'm assuming are going is everyone on this list except for Toys:

Including SOs and children (and Lazlo/Jody haven't said anything yet about children which might be more people...).

I agree that that cabin looks pretty great. And I have a feeling Lily won't count toward the 18 person limit, assuming she doesn't yet sleep in a bed.

EDIT: Ninja'd. I shall have to take a look at these new options.

Actually I take that back. I like C and D a lot.

 

D scares me since I'd have to talk to the owner. But it seems big.

I'm pretty much guaranteed to not be available for the whole thing. The dates for the national Taekwondo championship haven't been set yet, but it's almost definitely going to run into the lodging dates set. If I happen to have time I might stop by for a couple days at the end, but you shouldn't plan on me.

C is pretty nice. I also kind of like the layout of G, and that it seems to be in the middle of some woods.

I like the layout of A. "3 bedrooms" made me wary at first but it's kind of cool how they have a room full of beds. 

 

B is interesting! I like the idea of multiple little cabins, but at the same time, I think it'd be more enjoyable if we all had a bigger communal area. (especially in case of weather, since all the meeting spots in this one seem to be outside, and we wouldn't all fit in one cabin to hang out.) I'd also be curious if it was that price per cabin per night, or in general.

 

C has a hot tub. That is an auto-plus always in my book. I'm not sure where they're getting "sleeps 16 comfortably" unless they expect 3 people per king bed, though. But it's super pretty! 

 

D looks really nice. I'm not sure how I feel about the idea renting two completely separate houses though (since that's how they advertise up to 24 people). If the first place sleeps 12 and we have, say, 15 people go - then each house will only have a few people in it. That leads to segregation whether we want it or not. 

 

E is pretty much copy and paste description from one of the ones I've already looked at (I think C). Different place, but copy and paste, so probably same layout. Nice big hot tub though! 

 

F has a poker table AND what looks like a hot tub! :D I really like how the place looks, but I see that this one only says 12-14 people comfortably.

 

G. Is that...a loft? Sold! And it sleeps 17-19 comfortably (with apparently beds for 20, as says the bottom description).

 

H. Only sleeps 12-14...I don't know if I like this one as much anyway.

 

 

Currently, G is my favorite! Though I haven't looked up where it is in retrospect to anything.

But even then, two on bottom one on top should work, right?

Point. I just know I wouldn't be comfortable two on a top bed. XD Especially not me. What if someone rolls off! 

 

Butyeah. 2 bottom, 1 top could work depending on the final number of people.

Oh ok, fair enough. I miscounted how many people were going. Hopefully it works out, but I wouldn't be heartbroken if there just wasn't enough room.
