There's one from last week (Novation) and I assume a new one today (though I'll probably watch it tomorrow or Sunday). It deals further with the new shape-shifters (and Peter, obviously). And apparently (I like to use lots of parentheticals).

Fall 2011 doesn't even compare to Spring or Summer 2011.

Mashiroiro, while being my favorite of the season, is still generic. Ben-to is entertaining and original but can be considered filler. FSN Zero is good only if you've played the VN. Mawaru Penguindrum is just not my thing, and it may have gotten better, but no comment. Tamayura is relaxing..but it's really just standard moe SoL, just a little classier. Bakuman S2 is outmatched by its manga counterpart. Ika S2 is well..Ika. Only watchable if you've seen S1, funny and adorable though. Haganai is generic harem trash, character designs (same as Denpa) are good though. C3, Horizon, GC, etc.. are ripoffs/bad/cliche. Idolmaster is an okay drama, most seem to be watching it for the specific girl that they like. Same thing goes for Haganai. Kimi to Boku is getting slightly better by the episode, especially since it's shifting away from the yaoi subtext now.

Haven't tried P4 yet, heard it's only good after you've played the game.

Shana Final is good, actually, but of course it's S3 so there's an entry barrier. Last Exile S2 also explains some unanswered questions from S1, pretty decent, but again, entry barrier. Chihayafuru is potentially a good josei adaptation, characters are hit/miss though. Mirai Nikki has a decent adaptation (lovely yandere Yuno) too, but it'll require an S2 so there's no rush to see it. Edit: Nevermind, it's running (and completing) for 26 episodes. Hrm.

I dropped everything but Mashiroiro Symphony. The protag is pretty bitching (for once) and the tsunderes are really well done (for once). Ribbons, ribbons everywhere. Imouto for the first time in years doesn't have an explicit "Oniichan!"-complex and is actually a wonderful dandere. I need to play the source material VN when the season finishes. Regardless, it still can be considered "mediocre and generic".

I finally got around to watching the Nov. 10th episode of The Office, "Pam's Replacement."

The only good part was the drumming at the very end. That was probably the worst episode of the show, ever.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

Nodame Cantabile manga does not get enough love. It had a better ending than the anime and the final arc wasn't fucked up by J.C. Staff.

On another note, I may be slightly obsessed with Mashiroiro.

About to watch Kara no Kyoukai 1.

Spent my Friday night watching movies.

Tangled is a lovely, lovely movie. Probably one of my favorite non-live-action films.

And I woke up from my nap with a song from Mulan in my head, so I watched that too.

Finished Malcolm in the Middle on Netflix the week before last. Watching TV has been lonely and incomplete since.

Oh man, I have been slowly making my way through Malcolm in the Middle the past week on Amazon Prime.

I like it so much more now. I don't know if that's because I "get it" more than I used to when I was younger, or because how absolutely different and amazing Bryan Cranston is in Malcolm compared to Breaking Bad.

Bryan Cranston and Jane Kryahadfha or whatever her last name is completely make the show. They are ultra awesomely hilarious actors.

I was super reluctant to watch that show for the longest time because everyone in my class was constantly horfing about how funny it is when it came on and it kinda put me off. And then one fateful day like 5 years later, I was watching it without realizing what it was (and fell in love, naturally). The best part is it's a long ass show but pretty much every stinking episode is funny and worth watching. Oh Nolastnames, I miss you so. </3

I've started rewatching the Lord of the Rings trilogy for the first time in a couple years, I think. Just the theatrical versons though sincemy brother is borrowing my extended box set. Sadly, my Fellowship DVD is damaged, so I'm missing about 40 minutes from the beginning of Rivendell to the Balrog. =/

Just finished Return of the King. John Noble plays such convincing crazy people. And I'm surprised that I didn't recognize Karl Urban before they flashed his name at the end credits. I guess I'm just not used to seeing him with that much hair.
