It's SCIENCE for your SURVIVAL. And I hope the guy makes more, though it seems kinda doubtful.

Spaz and I have been binging on Arrow. A little cheesy at times, but not bad so far.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!

I, Frankenstein.

Something tells me already that this movie will be horrible, but it's that kind of vodka-fueled night.

EDIT: Well, that was campy as all hell. Not quite horrible, but...yeah. You're gonna need to be drinking for this one.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I now have access to Netflix to watch the fourth season and no parents around. I can't watch any cartoons when they're around because they start asking why I watch cartoons and I've gotten tired trying to explain.

Bee and I went to go see Inherent Vice on Friday. It takes a lot for us to actually go to the theaters, last time was for The Wind Rises, so I was a bit hesitant on going. But I enjoyed the movie. The only reason I went was because PTA is one of my favorite directors and Joanna Newsom is one of my favorite persons. It's not one of his best films though, maybe even his weakest. Personally though, I enjoyed it. I've never read Thomas Pynchon but I liked the story well enough, it reminded me of Murakami mixed with Kerouac.

Worth seeing if you like Paul Thomas Anderson or magical realism noirish stories. Otherwise I'd find it hard to recommend.

The gf and I saw Into the Woods the other day. I would have been happier if the ticket had cost less, but overall, it was a good movie. A bit long (I fidgeted my way through the second act), but having seen the theatre version of it I knew what I was getting myself into. Also due to having seen the play version already, there were absolutely no surprise twists or anything for me - I pretty much knew what was coming next the whole time. So I got a little bored, but definitely still enjoyed it. Enough to buy the movie when it comes out? ...Probably not.

Friends. I'm 20 years late to the party, but this is a really funny show. When I grow up, I want to spend all my time in a coffee house screwing around and still be able to live in Manhattan.

escape from planet earth was 3/5 stars good. lots of jokes that went over gf's head because she doesn't read about aliens like i do, or know that the earth is hollow and run by tibetan nazis.

that 70's show is decidedly cruel. the first three seasons get you attached to your small town pals, and then spends four seasons showing you that it all goes to shit.

Finished The Borgias. Few things cheese me off more than a series that ends not because it's not popular or not making money but because of producer/studio BS. From what I've found, the guy that was making this FANTASTIC series for Showtime got lazy and was demanding significantly more money for much less work (a 2 hour movie instead of another couple seasons). Despite the lack of ending sequence, I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves to watch people be incredibly cunning power-hungry dicks to each other.
