House of Cards season 3.

The amount of watching this I'm doing instead of studying is totally worth it to see Underwood be badass.

Bee and I started watching the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt over the weekend. We both really like it. It's basically more 30 Rock in a different setting (kinda), but it's good. Although sometimes it feels a bit too much like 30 Rock. Like the music, or the NBC references, or the cameos. But overall, it's great. We just have one more episode left. I very much recommend it if you like 30 Rock, or even if you don't and want a solid sitcom, since Bee never got into 30 Rock and seems to be enjoying it just fine. It's just really silly, with lots of 90s references.

Also we just regularly watch Last Week Tonight, The Soup, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Which, Sunny had one of the best episodes of the season last week. At least the one I was most excited for. I love Charlie.

I finally got around to watching Firefly.

It's not the best thing ever.

Ok, it's pretty good.

Oh man, I can't believe there's only one season of this! It's exactly what would happen if we really tried to do Star Trek.

House of Cards Season 3 took a turn I did not see coming.

How is that for expectations?

VP and I finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Half Blood Prince and Part one of the Deathly Hallows. This series went from magical to magically dark in a matter of two movies. Oh! I also watched Fifty Shades of Grey. I ahve not read the book, but the movie was underwhelming. I really didn't see why people freaked out about it. It wasn't that great.

Finally saw Big Hero 6 last night. I quite enjoyed it aside from the fact that all the supporting characters all get cool abilities, but Hiro's power is just "being the main character." Also the villain's power just makes me think of Science Gaara.

Saw the two part premiere of the new animated show Transformers: Robots in Disguise. I had seen commercials for it, but it was by pure chance that I turned on the tv while cooking dinner to see it. Even then I probably only saw about 70% of the episodes because I had to change the channel when guests stopped by for my parents.

It surprised me by being pretty interesting. I think the biggest thing is that they aren't following a lot of things I would expect from a show like this. It focuses on Bumblebee and not Optimus, there is a female robot that is not feminine looking, and they're actually exploring more diverse robots (they introduced Dinobots and Chompazoids). It looks like it has potential.

Finished the Harry Potter series with Deathly Hallows Part 2. Watching them all makes VP want to read the books again. I'll admit it kinda makes me want to read them too.

Decided to go through M*A*S*H the tv series. I've only seen several episodes out of order on late night nostalgia channels. War is hell. Makes be grateful that the only useful advise dad (Vietnam vet) ever gave me was to not join the military because it's just young men dying in an old man's war.
