me too... let's change that.

who thinks bigfoot is real? all the shows im watching lately have a bigfoot episode where they "investigate" some "alarming" new "evidence" that's "inconclusive" or "just a bear" by the end of the episode. i'm on the fence. i really want bigfoot to be real, but these "shows" all have too much in common with one another's presentations to make me think bigfoot isn't made up.

They probably all have a lot in common because those bits of evidence are probably the only even slightly bits of evidence that exist. And none are very convincing.

Just got my first piece of spam mail in my MonkeyMail account. Someone apparently got my address through Facebook (despite it only being visible to Friends) and decided to ask to be my friend via email rather than, y'know, on Facebook where they found me.

So when some friends invited me out to eat at a place called Twin Peaks, I was expecting some damn fine coffee. Instead I got a Hooters copy cat, and then I realized what the name was referring to.

went to two auditions today. one for a sketch comedy series filming next month in kenosha, and a theater for their upcoming season in town. hoping it went well, i read two of my own bits as a monologue, and they got laughs. im still super nervous, but there's a factory made cheesecake waiting at home.

 

EDIT: The ^Kenosha audition wants me to come back and talk about the show, and to go over my notes with me to see if i'd be a good fit for the writing staff. fuck. fuck. fuck. fuck. fuck. i'm shaking goddamnit.

I'm on a special level of pissed off tonight. One I haven't been able to reach in years.

One of the pharmacy techs, I do not know who, accepted a bogus as all hell $20 as payment. But that's not why I lost my shit.

Pop Quiz: How many sides of a $20 bill should have Andrew Jackson's face printed on them? Because it was both sides on this one, and it was on goddamn printer paper, and it was turning fucking BLUE.

But I swear to god, I am going to go full Liam Neeson and find the moron who took this. I don't even care that they took a counterfeit, it happens, it's that they took such an obviously fake piece of money and should have had the common sense to realize "Hey! There's supposed to be a building on the other side! Both sides of money don't look the exact same! And our money is supposed to be GREEN!"

So, I'm just a little bit  ABSOLUTELY LIVID

as it happens, my gf used to fool around with this guys she worked with, and they started talking again when she moved back into the area. thursday, she tells me she wants to "step away" before she "hurts" me "again"

between the sparse details i get from her, and the enormous selling out of her by her friend, i learned not only what the guy looked like, but found him on her friends list, and found out he's engaged to some other girl.

my gf told me before all this that she needed to find out where she stood with this other guy before she could move on with me.

thursday night i lie awake thinking through plans varying wildly in degrees of psychopathy. friday morning i woke up exhausted, but determined. i drive to the place where he works, and pick out some mace, and a bundle of blue paracord.

after that, i wasn't sure if i could find him, or even if he was working that day. it just so happened that he came out from behind where they cut keys, and asked me if i needed help with anything.

i lead him, alone, out of everyone else's sight down the lightbulb aisle. i make small talk about outdoor flood lights and home security. i tell him i'm working on a special project, and take out my phone.

my knees start to shake. his eyes widened as he realized i wasnt there for lightbulbs. i showed him a picture of me and gf from furfest, and ask if he knows her. he says he does. i swipe to the next picture, it's a screenshot of his fb profile. i ask him if that's him. he sheepishly answers that it is.

i tell him a low, nearly inaudible tone that if he wasnt honest with my gf and stopped flirting with her, i would fill his fiance in on everything because i found her fb too, and described her car and workplace to him.

he nodded quietly, and hurried away. i paid for my things and left. an hour later, she calls me, crying. he was very nasty to her about me going over there and confronting him, and she was shocked and angry that i did it, and broke up with me right there.

fuck.

not only were we going to a haunted house, but i got a (normal as opposed to sex) hotel room so we could do dinner/drinks/whatever and stay out late. i spend a few good hours feeling like crap at work until i get a message. boozepony wanted me to pick up her and her friend to go to speed dating. i decided it was too far away for dissappoitment, so we settled on hanging out with our other friends, (who i refer to here as the other mummies but that's not important.)

eventually as we drink and dent our huge bag of weed, her friend goes off with my friend for some gross sex, and bp and i decide to go to the hotel i still have, since hotels.com wouldn't refund the room. we stay up late, watch adult swim, and pass out with our clothes on.

the next morning, i had to go back to the office. my parents left to fl, and i have to go to the po box and do the banking. as im upstairs, i notice a box of candy that this one salesman brought our office manager. she told me i could have it, and give it to my gf. i do my work really fast, and take bp the candy back in the car. we drive around some more, and end up back at our friend's house to pick up her friend.

i drop bp off at home, and we see that her plenty of fish match, who she doesnt like anymore, sent her flowers.com flowers. she leaves them in my car, i drop her off somewhere else to babysit, and i go home.

sunday morning, i drive over to newex gf's house to take her stuff back, including the flowers bp left, since i thought it would harden the blow of returning her stuff. we talk for a few hours, and she tells me that she never even rounded second base with him. i then find out as im there that his gf saw my fb msg to her about it all, and broke up with him on vday, after he (guiltily) took her somewhere expensive friday when i scared him.

we talk some more, cry a little, and decide to take a break before trying again.

i did what i thought was right. i made a sensible plan of action. i followed through on it. i won her back. i wasn't sure, i was even scared of making everything worse, but i stuck to my principles, and it was glorious.
