I got to stick two people (co-workers) with needles for practice today, thus doubling my experience.

Once I get good at that, I've pretty much got everything down at my new job.

I'm getting really fucking sick of generic job hunting advice.

I am not an idiot, so stop treating me like one (It's not to anyone here, I'm just venting).

Things like "Just put out a shit ton of applications" and "Smile during your interview" and "Dress nice" are not helpful bits of advice. I already do those things without you suggesting them.

Things like "Get a job so you have experience to put on a resume" isn't helpful either. If I could get a job in the first place, I wouldn't need the prior experience.

Information like this is constantly told to me. I'm doing everything I can, and am tired of being treated like a fucking invalid because I can't turn basic advice into a job in a job deprived area.

I am actually going to be busy tonight. As lame as it sounds, I need to spend the next 1 2 17 hours rest of my life filling out these applications.

The life of an unemployed person.

If you want to play Civ V though, I should be available either tomorrow or Saturday/Sunday. Busy until then with a lot of family stuff, unfortunately :/ (Not really so unfortunate, I love my family)

Substitute the word "woman" for "job" and the statement is more true.

Squeeze into a woman cannon?

If I know what you mean  ;):

Squeezing into a woman cannon is exactly what I've been trying to do since puberty.

Man, I hate not being able to squeeze into a woman cannon.

One of these days...

Anyways, dekstop ricing is hard, but I've got one that looks OK, so I'm breddy gud. Also rearranged my room and such.

Also, do you guys have BNW?

It's all about not trying.

I know, that probably makes no fucking sense.

It's christmas season, so the rational thing to do is to add a poorly (hooray Microsoft Paint!) made Santa Hat to my avatar.

Worth it.

I got a custom rig with the intention of upgrading it bit by bit over time. I've lost track of how long ago that was (five, maybe six years?), and I've never upgraded a single piece of it. xp

I tend to do the same thing. "Man, this build is awesome cuz I can I can just upgrade this part or that part all the way in to the future!!!"

A few years later I usually just build an entirely new PC...

Happened to me, too. My first build in 2006 stayed mostly unchanged with the exception of a new hard drive and, in 2011, a new video card. Finally I decided I needed to upgrade it, but at that point, it was cheaper to just replace everything in it, except the hard drive and video card.

Oh and uh I totally have plans to upgrade my pc as I go so don't spoil them for me.

It'll never happen, bro. The problem is your stuff just works, so spending the money on upgrading never really makes sense until everything in your computer is so slow you may as well just replace the whole damn thing.

Man, I hate not being able to squeeze into a woman cannon.

I have BNW! Leggy doesn't believe in DLC and man, that kid doesn't know what he's missing.

And I never will!

I already bought the damned game, I should be able to enjoy all the features of that game!

I don't mind free DLC, but having to pay extra for something after I bought the game? Blasphemy.

I too have BNW and Leggy you are crazy, DLC can often be the best part of games.

I won't even buy after earth until at least one if not all of the DLC drops.

I don't contest DLC can be fun.

I just refuse to support the idea of paid DLC.

Put it in the game to begin with or offer it for free after the fact.

I already bought your game, I don't feel like purchasing more shit on top of it.
