I got a call back from the place that interviewed me last week~

 

They didn't explicitly say "you've got the job," but they're showing me around one of the facilities I would be starting at to see what I think tomorrow morning. And I was told that I would be making about twice as much as I do now per hour (which is super great but not as impressive as it sounds xp).

My mom decided that instead of taking the garbage out and putting it in the bin, she'd just leave it on the porch next to where the dog sits when he's outside. She's now mad at him for tearing into said garbage bag.

 

This is like telling a kid, "Do not eat this cookie," and then leaving them alone in a room with a cookie sitting right in front of them as if its been served up especially for them. They will likely eat it anyway.

 

Like, how about you don't be lazy in the first place and just throw the garbage into the bin like you're supposed to? (plus I picked it up, so I don't see why she's mad. She wasn't picking up egg shells, tissues, and coffee grounds.)

On top of that McDonalds interview and this movie theater interview, I have Cumberland Farms giving me a call screening in a day or two.

 

Shit. I didn't even apply to that job in the past 6 months.

 

When did I get so popular?

 

If MP wants to hire me full time, you guys are gonna have to act fast. ;)

I ordered oil paint earlier this week, since I'm running low. It came a few days early, and despite only ordering and getting charged for one, I randomly got two extra tubes of yellow ochre. :D I use this shade a lot, so that's pretty awesome.

But let's be serious here. Having a job does not necessarily mean having a life. Look at me. I've had a job for years, and I'm one of the most active members. Even being married or just being in a relationship is suspect justification for life-having, judging from our own ranks. Unless...MonkeyPro is the true life. The only life worth having.

Having a job would not hurt my activity at MP.

 

I come by and spend a few minutes at a time on site, reading whatever posts interest me (usually this thread, any and all sports related ones, Survivor thread, gaming threads, etc) and reply when it's up.

 

I'd have more than a few minutes of free time if I took up a job.

Car accident. I was just in one. Noone got hurt though. More of a fender bender really. Just a little bumper damage and a broken headlight.

I feel sorry for the little dude I'm riding with. It was the first accident he was ever in. Poor little guy.

You should take the movie theater one man. They don't pay much and it's hard work but you get to see movies for free!
