Ok. So, does Walt get any better at lying by season 5? He isn't so bad at the delivery; it's just the content of his lies are poorly chosen.

I've been rewatching the series lately, and I still enjoy the earlier seasons, there's just a couple minor issues I have. I don't care at all about some of the subplots, like the whole Marie shoplifting thing, or a lot of the family drama in general. Also, I forgot that some of what season 2 was building up to ended up being really disappointing. But I donno, there's still some great stuff in there, and the climaxes are mostly worth it. The show really does pick up around season 3. I wish I could watch the show for the first time again.

I don't even know if there's a person to root for anymore in this show. I'd say Jesse but who knows what's going on in that mind. Probably just Walter Jr. and his quest for free continental breakfast.

I like how this episode was split, first half was Walt lying, the second half was Jesse trying to deal with it. And yeah, I agree with you about Hank, MD. That made me much less interested in seeing him have any level of success. Tough I suppose that was the point...

Well he's so caught up in just wanting to catch Walt it doesn't really matter to him what happens to Jesse. Even if he needs Jesse he still hates him, and probably thinks that he's a low life piece of shit...which he is, honestly. Especially after the confession he gave in where he tells all.

 

Not to mention basically no one cares about Jesse except for Walt, as sad and twisted as it is. To Saul/Hank/Skyler/Marie he might as well go die if they're not getting their ways.

 

Also, I totally thought this was some random hip hop song. Totally wrong!

 

And it's amazing. The amount of detail in this show, honestly.

That really isn't out of Hanks Character, Remember there was no one that Hank Hated more than Jesse before  He found out that Walt was Mineral Man's Arch-Enemy. So he will Use the Hell out of Jesse to bring down his Lex Luther, so to speak. Now I really Don't want to root for anyone in the show Anymore, I'm just Watching as the critical Systems Fail And the System verges on the Edge of a cataclysmic Failure.

 

I can't Wait to watch the Trains collide.

I hated Skylar when I first watched, but not because of that. I mean at this point I wouldn't really consider them married anyways.

 

I mean Walt is a terrible person. He is putting her in a shitty position and that's all she can do to find some kind of release and say fuck you to him. It's less about fucking Ted and more about fucking Walt. And if you don't absolutely hate Walt now...well...you'll come to, hopefully.

 

I think this might be more obvious to me now than it was before.

 

Also, yeah, Xteven, it's totally in Hank's character, which is what I was trying to allude to, I guess. Just I kind of thought he progressed away from that kind of thinking and behavior.

Hank is most likely dead. There is no way for Walt getting out of this situation unless he is killed. Annnnnnd his conversation with Marie was so "I'm going to die in a few minutes".

 

But then again that could be their way of doing a fake out, and I wouldn't put it past them. What else could happen is they just all run out of bullets. I assume Hank/Gomey doesn't have a lot of rounds in those guns and the Todd gang could just negotiate for Walt/Jesse?

 

I feel like, at this point, my thoughts of it either being Jesse/Hank Walt was going after in the flash-forwards are probably wrong. I'm assuming it's this white power group. But who knows with this show?

 

But gaaaaawd can not wait a whole week.

Due to my affliction, I clicked your spoiler and red the first sentence before I came to my senses and decided to watch the show first... But holy shit. After reading that, I was expecting Hank to be injured severely on camera, but thanks to the magic of TV, this is much less predictable. I'm guessing, though, that Hank probably isn't going to die. At least, not in this situation... My guess is that he will be there the end, or close to it.
