Due to my affliction, I clicked your spoiler and red the first sentence before I came to my senses and decided to watch the show first... But holy shit. After reading that, I was expecting Hank to be injured severely on camera, but thanks to the magic of TV, this is much less predictable. I'm guessing, though, that Hank probably isn't going to die. At least, not in this situation... My guess is that he will be there the end, or close to it.

Ha, I did the EXACT same thing. Read "Hank is most likely dead" and went "AGH I bettevr watch the episode now."  I loved the whole phone call between Walt and Jesse, and everything from there on. So tense. Agh. Oh man. Part of me hopes that Hank does die, just because I really hope he doesn't, if that makes sense.

 

This show constantly surprises me, but at the same time there's always been this sort of safety net where none of the main characters can really die. Like even the last scene, as crazy intense as it was, every shot fired conveniently missed. I donno. The situation that's unfolding now, though, I feel like someone has to die, but really, it's useless trying to predict where this show is going to go, since I'm rarely right about it.

The finale of season 5, what did you guys think? I loved it up until the DEA and the Neo-Nazis were just throwing bullets at each other... It should have ended with a single shot and then immediately black. There is no way that both the DEA and white supremacists are that bad of shots. Come on guys... it's ridiculous.

B) Pretty sure Gomey was at least hit.

 

It's not that ridiculous. Meth Damon and the gang were a bit too far to be accurate, especially since they were staying under cover and using automatic weapons, and Gomey/Hank got under cover relatively quickly. While Gomey only had a shot gun and Hank just had a pistol and had to shoot from afar with the Neo Nazis under heavy cover.

 

I mean I think it's unlikely that the Nazis would miss completely, but it's not out of the realm of possibilities. Especially since at least Gomey got hit, or grazed, or something.

His arm was grazed. I still think that the neo-nazis should have atleast killed one of them. It's more about the number and spread of the bullets that doesn't make sense of what happens. You've got that one guy with an AA12 that had a fairly small spread for a shot gun, but from that distance, Gomez and/or Hank should have been as peppered as a peppercorned sirloin. Especially since he had atleast 2 rounds off minimum before either Hank of Gomez had any cover, since the fire rate is 300 rounds per minute. Then, you had two guys that I remember with high caliber assault rifles. One with less accuracy (but higher rate of fire than the other). Plus, you have the leader who obviously knows his way around guns and must be a good shot with a pistol. Granted that pistol isn't a particularly accurate gun, but he got off 2 shots. One with tons of time to aim and another having to account for recoil (which isn't much on the pistol he is using). Logically, he probably was aiming at Gomez because he was the one with the shot gun and therefore could have injured(atleast) more of his squad. I could go back though and run the numbers. In fact, I think I just might. It sounds like a fun time. :)

That was the saddest episode of television since the Red Wedding.

 

It was like if the Red Wedding was an entire episode long.

I can't fucking believe what Todd is doing to Jesse. Well I can, I could tell that was going to happen the second Walt told them where Jesse was.

 

But god. That is so disgusting.

 

AND I CAN'T BELIEVE WALT FINALLY TOLD HIM. I'VE BEEN WAITING OVER FOUR YEARS FOR THAT.
