I just finished the episode where Tuco's cousins tried to kill Hank.

Oh jessus. I was on the edge of my seat all episode. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE SEASON FINALE.

Yeah, I've always had mixed feelings about this show but I've really enjoyed this season. The music in the last episode was really well done.

There's something that I really like about this show that I can't really put my finger on, I'm not sure if it's the cinematography or the directing but whatever it is it does really well to create an atmosphere.

HOLY MOLEY OH MY GOSH THE BEST

Sooooo jesus Walt is a horrible person and everyone should hate him. But you know who else is a horrible person? Saul. Saul has to have been the person to tell Walt where Brock lived, and lifted the ricin from Jesse. Walt only ever saw Brock once, at Jesse's house. There is nooo way Walt could have done any of this without Saul.

I also don't have high hopes for the end of this show. I feel like Gus brought sooo much to this show that it's going to be hard to replace the Walt/Gus dynamic. But iono. I feel like this show has just been so dominated by Gus for like, two and a half seasons, that it's hard to picture what is going to happen.

Here's what I think:
1. The DEA has to do something. I have a suspicion Hank already thinks Walt is up to something. Hank is obviously not a dumb man, and in the past three episodes Walt has done some very suspicious things.
2. Jesse is going to have to kill Walt. Jane. Brock. He's going to find out someway. Especially since Saul must know about Brock...and Saul isn't always the most trustworthy of people.
3. Mike certainly won't be very happy to see Gus is dead. Mike also has a better connection with Jesse than Walt does, at this point, I think. If anything about Brock or Jane leaks out...
4. Gus' secret Chilean past. I wonder if it'll come back and bite them in the ass, especially if even the cartel is afraid of it, you know?
5. Gus comes back as a terminator, since he practically already is.
6. What in the world must Skyler think about all this. Ted is dead. Walt is just killing people and poisoning children...
7. ...and he's probably going to find a way to continue cooking meth. At the car wash, I bet you.

That was one hell of a season. The best show.

It was pretty good. I mostly just liked the music. Particularly the bit playing as Gus was in his car before going into the retirement home.

I knooooooow. That whole scene was just absolutely beautiful.

Apparently the scene right after, with Jesse and Walt in the lab, was written by a 12 year old and 15 year old. Which is crazy ridiculous.

For some reason I had forgotten that this was the last season. Looking forward to it. Not always the best show, but I think the last season really started to get its shit together.

We are in for one hell of a season.

This episode seems like it kind of rushed things (the laptop, Ted, Mike, the cigarette), and so nicely too (not a good thing). Which is something the show hasn't really ever done. But hopefully the show is better for all this.

I think the first episode worked. I'd watched the first couple of seasons since watching the last season and I'd forgotten how much it's improved.

I think it would have been cooler and made more sense if they somehow got a timed EMP device into the evidence locker. But then again I have no idea how possible it is to make a timed EMP device or how effective they are.

My only concern is that it started by showing something in the future, rather than focusing on the present. This is one of my least favorite ways to start a TV show. I will forgive it, though, because the rest was tops.

But I thought flash forwards were kind of a staple of Breaking Bad. They do them a lot, don't they?

They really only ever did it in season 2 with the bear thing, and the pilot.

Most cold opens tend to be flash backs.
