WELL unlike Final Fantasy XIII. At least Breaking Bad from the start shows merit and the appeal that it'll pay off if you put time in it. :PI hate to be like the guy that says "Final Fantasy 13 gets really good 30 hours in!" but I think it's worth sticking it out for a little longer.

First episode of season 4 was pretty boring, yeah.
I wanted orange. It gave me lemon-lime...

Jesus Christ. There is no way this show is ever going to end up in a happy ending after what happened.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

This season has been good overall, but that last five minutes leading into that last shot has got to be one of the best television moments in recent memory.

Well A) That was probably the least important plot point of the whole episode. (well, it does become kind of major)/>That spoiler may keep me from watching the show. That kind of freak accident death always makes me feel ill, no matter how much it's intended to be funny.
Also
B) He doesn't die.

Wikipedia was wrong, then. But that was probably something to do with the new episode. I will probably watch this show eventually./>

I could also point out that the number of people who get exploded in freak dynamite explosions on Lost is probably a lot more than there are per year in real life.
I can't explain it. Maybe it's a deeper thing. Like it makes me feel as if life has no meaning, since it can end with so little purpose. At least when somebody kills another (let's just stick to fictional philosophy), there is a purpose, whether malicious or not. At least I can feel something about somebody, rather than just that sinking feeling I get when this sort of thing happens.
Seriously, I've been thinking about this all day. I even considered making an expanded post about it, but we'll see.

But it is interesting, I think he is like the only character in the show that just dies without being killed. I don't know. Maybe it didn't hit me so hard because I didn't think he died. (and still have a little doubt of belief because you never know with this show)

Are you enjoying the show more now that you've gone through season 3? (which is arguably the best season so far)

I think I'm kind of sympathetic to that sort of feeling. Maybe not quite the same thing, but certain shows and movies that find comedy in embarrassing and uncomfortable situations used to leave me with a sinking feeling in my gut. Hard to explain./>
