At home, I'm now reading The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide. I'm starting at the beginning since it's been several years since I listened to an audio copy of the first book.
At work (since I don't want to risk getting coffee spilled on a hardback), I've started The Caves of Steel by Asimov.

And I'm also reading How Things Work. Interesting stuff.
I'm going to try to read A Wrinkle in Time sometime soon. My favorite book ever.

I'm currently in an Iris Johansen kick. I've read two of her books in the past two weeks or so and have picked out my third (I have a large collection of her books, many of which I haven't actually read yet...).
I'm realizing things about the way she writes and I'm hoping that it's just her newer books, so I'm returning to some of her older ones in hopes to salvage the idealism I had for this author. XD Don't get me wrong; she's a fantastic writer and her books keep me entertained and wanting to continue reading, but...she's lacking in some parts, and I'm curious if it's just the ones I've been reading, or if it's all of them and I just never noticed.

Oh really? I've only read essays by Ayn Rand and she was such a heartless stuckup bitch. I've only ever heard derogatory things from people who have read Atlas Shrugged./>I'm re-reading Atlas Shrugged. I can honestly say that it's more enjoyable this time through, so far.
Oh, and I'm reading the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test
I wanted orange. It gave me lemon-lime...

I dunno. I wish I could describe why I enjoy the book so much. Not every part of it, mind you. But for some strange reason I imagine myself having more trust in the protagonists of the book than I do in anyone of their status in real life./>Oh really? The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

Also rereading Flames of Recca. On chapter 12 online out of a lot. XD
Also, in actual book news, took back out Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Vortex. The library was hiding it on me, but I proved superior and found it anyway. Trying to finish it by the end of the month.

EDIT: One of these days I will read Flames of Recca. And a dozen other serials that I ought to make a list for...

I love the movies and thought I should give the books a try since my sister-in-law speaks so highly of them. Did you know they're making a fourth movie, The Bourne Legacy? I think it will have a different main character (and actor, of course). I don't know anything else about it yet.

As for the books, Idenity is kinda similar to the film, but they definitey changed a lot for the movie. Then I'm told that Supremacy has almost nothing to do with its book, but Ultimatum gets back on track. Those were the only three books by Robert Ludlum, then he died and someone else wrote four(?) others.
