I started reading Raymond Chandler's The Big Sleep yesterday for class. It's first person "noir" in style, and it makes me chuckle.

Also, I recently finished reading Cardcaptor Sakura online (I must say I'm glad for some of the changes they made for the anime, such as the rampant pedophilia), and I'm considering starting Fruits Basket next.

I recently finished reading all of Ruroni Kenshin online. I want to buy the series now, because I really enjoyed almost all of it.

Huzzah!

Dooooo it!

I'm just about done with Fire Emblem. :) Wonder what I'll start after that...

I just started reading Mushishi after a friend recommended it to me.

I'm working on Notes From Underground by Dostoevsky in my spare time.

I also second the Fruits Basket suggestion.

Still nosing around for something new to read, having finished Fire Emblem. At the moment, I'm starting to read chapter 283 of Negima. :3 But that won't work for the long run.

Edit: Currently reading Q.E.D.. It's basically Case Closed/Detective Conan. I'm liking it. :)

Reading the first book in the great Saga of Recluce. I'd read a 6/7 book series by the author, L.E. Modesitt, and loved 'em, so I figured I'd read his longest (and perhaps most famous?) series. Cuz hey, if you like the author, the more books the better. And so far, it's been pretty good, and a lot more philosophical than I expected.. =D

The 4th Dresden Book, called "Summer Night"

I can't wait until summer, when I'm done with literature classes and can read whatever I please once again. Then maybe I'll finally get around to reading The Desden Files.

Not that I didn't enjoy The Big Sleep, which I just finished this afternoon. Next up is The Maltese Falcon.

i actually read a book. holy crap.

I had to read a book called Then We Came To The End for my english class. It's a droll attempt at compromise Office Space with Seinfeld, but with none of the funny stuff.

I don't know if any of you read both of these manga, but the latest chapter of Negima (285) feels like it was stolen directly from Bleach. <_<

"Robot Ghosts and Wired Dreams: Japanese Science Fiction From Origins to Anime"

Incredibly interesting analysis on the evolution of Japanese science fiction. There are a few pre-war books mentioned that I would love to read on my own sometime.

"Wall Street: From Its Beginnings to the Fall of Enron"

"The Mayflower Project"

Reading Paul Auster's City of Glass for school, and so far it is quite...odd. Like the back cover says, it's as if Kafka was writing a detective novel.
The best way I can describe it would be a postmodern meta-detective story.

Okay, so I just finished reading all five Scott Pilgrim books in less than a day. Looks like I'll be buying them after all.

So, I take it that they're worth a read?

I've always wanted to read them, just lazy.

I heartily recommend them. d(''d)

Pirate Bay has the first five books (plus a side-story that's normally free anyway) in one convenient torrent file.

Now I'm reading The Big Bang Never Happened: A Startling Refutation of the Dominant Theory of the Universe. It's pretty compelling I must say, a lot more political than I had expected.
