I never said that this anime series was trivial to me, just that debating over our opinions once they're all said and defended for seems trivial. I felt that I had to substantiate a bit more on my own opinion. I put in effort into most of my posts, not just the ones that involve some type of argument.

I still don't see how presenting my opinion on something I find important and accepting your opinion to an extent makes me "butthurt". XD

Perhaps Serial Experiments Lain (if you're into philosophical/surrealist) or Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (if you're into sci-fi philosophical cyberpunk) or even SaiKano (if you want dramatic psychologically-thrilling romance). I would peruse a non-spoilerific synopsis of each and see if you're interested.

Also, for future reference, any further debates between Mael and I will be moved to a newly created topic that will hold all of our debates. XD

Oh god... Stand Alone Complex was awful... Do you just watch anything that Cartoon Network puts on the air? (The Japanese version so it's cool though, right?)

At least with Mael and I it was more of a playful "no hard feelings" exchange especially because we talk on AIM, but you've just been acting very asshole-ish to me and I don't even know who you are. I've been guilty of this as well with Mael in the beginning, but maybe you should try actually getting to know me before you start acting antagonistically.

Anyway, Ghost in the Shell was received positively by most reviewers and critics and I think it may have won some awards. Take that for what it's worth.

I sorta liked SAC. It was just one of those shows I didn't go out of my way to watch, but if I came across it and watched it for a bit, I'd watch it till the end.

lol @ Yu Gi Oh. I never watched it really, but when it was on and I flipped by, the Yu Gi Oh character or whatever was talking in this shrimpy little girl voice, and then the next time I flipped by he was talking in this deep man voice. I remember someone telling me that he has like the soul of some old faggot in him or something but still - totally trippy when you aren't expecting it.
