Oh, no, SHE was a wonderful model. :D She looks almost exactly like Ishida, and we didn't even base the character off of her! She just couldn't stop laughing while she was modeling, so she couldn't get the expressions right. But she looked so pretty~.

I like Khuza's beard-thing. Good choice in the end. And you're right, Oriana didn't change all that much.

Oriana looks a little older to me, but not by much. She just looks more physically strong to me than anything else. Which, with the life she and Khuza have been leading, that makes sens.e
And yeah, I got a little carried away on her dress, but it looks pretty. :D Kenji just looks more like his father, I think. More defined face and stick three feet up his ass.
I love how Ishbuu looks. :D Defintely looks older than before, but still really pretty. And Khuza's Khuza, as always.

New pictures! Quite a few this time, too! I was able to scan the Lucian and Ishida pic while house sitting for my sister (she has a very big, very nice scanner). I also posted the rest of the Aged Arcane Characters series, five being the last. As well as a quick character design for the side character Fie and a sketch of the palace/academy of Tejet.

Off-topic, when we went down to visit my brother and his wife for Thanksgiving, my sister-in-law's family was there, and their brought their dog, Carson. He's a poodle. His name makes me chuckle.

Heh, yeah, I have a cousin named Carson, too. Though it's funny, in some ways I hear she's become like Carson (very spoiled, and egotistical, lacks the whole talent part, though).
But yes, li'l carson's fun to draw, especially in comics.

New painting up. I just finished this one for a contest, though I'm not thrilled with it. I did a lot of preparation, too (drawing out the basic gist of the city and making a sketch of the lay out of the land) all of my sketches look AWESOME, but this, somehow, fell short of that. I'm not really sure of where I went wrong and I'm thinking I might want to redo this one someday, but I guess it's not too bad considering it's my first landscape. =/ It just looks too...unrefined and kind of like a kid's illustration to me.

I think it looks nice. :) The random section of the mountain with no snow at all looks weird, though... And I still say that airship says 'hi' on it. :D

I thought it was part of the mountains at first too, so it wasn't just you. =p

I like it though, especially the clouds on the left for some reason. And the city. One thing I have to comment on though is that the hill looks too steep for a river to be flowing over it.

And dangit, now I can't look at that airship and not see "Hi" since Kamau pointed it out. =p

I'm a little confused as to how you could mistake the airship for a part of the mountain...

and I was gonna have the river cut into the hills a bit more, but that didn't quite work out, and damn you Kamau and your 'Hi'! It's supposed to be a stylized HH! D:
