As far as I can see Nintendo announced like 2 new games.

Sadness.

It's still interesting to see all the games, but still. No announcements really. :/

I'm inclined to agree. Great presentation again (I know it helps that it was all prepared in advance), but so far, Nintendo has had the weakest announcements of the big 3.

Almost time for Square Enix. Again, edits, as, things, happen.

  • Why open with gun and explosions? Just 'cuz. I mean, Just Cause.
  • Phil Rogers is playing it pretty straight with this opening. It's a little vanilla, but kinda welcome since everybody else tried soooo hard to be funny.
  • Not sure what's going on with the stream, but I can't help but wonder if it's going to cut out.
  • Mmm... grapple hook.
  • Also, let's take a moment to appreciate the very american idea of bringing peace to foreign nations by exploding everything. Just Cause 3 ©.
  • New NeiR game from Platinum games is interesting. I've never played NeiR, or a platinum game, but both are interesting in their own right. Shame the trailer didn't really show anything (And that it might be a PS4 exclusive).
  • Is the Majora's Mask moon mask an attempt at humor, or does this guy just not want to be on stage?
  • And the stream freaked out and died. Hopefully they get it back up before the next announcement.
  • Apparently it's still going strong on Youtube, rather than twitch. Sucks to be twitch. Looks like I just missed a bit about Tomb Raider, and that's OK with me.
  • I'm not too interested in Lara Croft Go, because Lara Croft, but Hitman Go is surprisingly good so this will probably at least be an OK game.
  • Less interesting to see the FF7 trailer again. Shame they didn't throw in any footage with it.
  • I've never played a Kingdom Hearts game, but for some reason a mobile phone KH game just feels... slimy. Though I wonder if Marvel and Star Wars characters are open game, now?
  • Ok, mobile game doesn't seem so bad since the KH franchise is getting a proper release. I'm sure plenty of people out there are happy about this.
  • And the World of Final Fantasy trailer is the perfect time to take a bathroom break.
  • I seem to remember a similar trailer for Hitman: Absolution. Lots of broken promises. I'll give them the benefit of a doubt, though, but I won't buy the game until after critical reviews come out.
  • Star Ocean: Ridiculous Subtitle on the way.
  • I was wondering if we would be getting some Deus Ex details. Nice. Though, the details seem a bit cheesy, I'm still looking forward to the game. So much so.
  • And Project Setsuna is not Chrono Trigger. Sorry, MD.

The montage of montages isn't over yet, but I'm pretty sure all announcements are made. Square-Enix had the most cut and dry conference, but at least they weren't trying too damn hard to be funny (Looking at you, EA), so it was kinda nice.

I feel like Nintendo was just updating on everything they announced last year.

A bit disappointing since last year they actually came out with two new IPs. And Splatoon is a hoot. Hoping for something like that again.

Be back at 8, friends. Still have that PC Gaming conference to attend to.

Let's see... if you slice an 8 in half down the middle, you get... Half-Life 3 confirmed?

Star Fox. I was kind of hoping, but didn't dare to dream for it, and yet it came. And it was... Really mediocre. The walkers were cool, and that drone thing was kind of interesting, but it didn't wow me like I thought it would. Maybe I'm too old for Star Fox? Maybe I've been let down too much in the past. The world may never know.

Zelda looks cool, but only if it's single card.

Fucking.

Animial.

Crossing.

YARDS.

As unexcited as I am for Star Fox Zero is as unexcited I was for Happy Home Designer. As excited as I thought I'd be for a new Star Fox title is how excited I am for HHD. The whole time I've been playing New Leaf I've been saying we needed to be able to have yards, and this is exactly what I meant.

I don't really want to play this game, though. Rather, I want how this game works to be in New Leaf--or at least the next Animal Crossing title. Which I'm not ready for yet.

I didn't watch the event, but the rest of it sounds prett uninteresting to me. Was there more on that Zelda for Wii U game? Someone said lady Link but they may have been funning.

Square Enix's conference... kind of disinterested me? I was so hyped for it too.

I like that a Star Ocean game is coming, and it doesn't change that FF7 remake is coming...

But there just wasn't all that much I wanted to hear about. JC3 looks nice though, I guess.

I think I'm done for E3. The rest of the stuff is PC stuff, right? I have enough PC stuff.

PC gaming show.

Somebody clearly spent a lot of time on this introduction.
The host is totally cheesy, which I both like and dislike.
My wife and friend are both of the opinion that killing floor 2 is gross. it is.
Vietnam game ft. Run Through The Jungle. Original.
Where is the star citizen footage?
This AMD ad is boring.

I had a friend over, and I knew that at it's current pace, there was no way I could keep him interested in the PC Gaming Show (and he's even a pc gamer ...). I may or may not watch it and update this post later, but it was kinda painful...

I am looking forward to this more than any other game that isn't Persona 5:

I wish Nintendo would have focused a bit more on it, but I guess that's what Treehouse Live is for.

Aside from Earthbound Beginnings, the top 5 that stick out in my memory that I'm looking forward to are (in no particular order):

The Last Guiardian

No Man's Sky

Mirror's Edge Catalyst

Star Fox Zero

Mass Effect: Andromeda

Mass Effect is another thing I really want, but I just don't have enough information yet. With games like FF7, it's very clear why we're not seeing much, and it's a remake, there's not much they could show we wouldn't already know. With games like Shenmue 3, they literally can't show what isn't on their kickstarter.

I'm sure Mass Effect will be great, like it always is, but I really wish we'd seen more.

I started to make a list of 5 to follow what you had done, but I had trouble thinking of something to put in the last spot. xp At first I had Hyrule Warriors Legends, but then I remembered that they announced Mass Effect. There wasn't much else that I both had enough information to know what it was and was also excited for.

http://www.engadget....terview-e3-2015

"I don't want to change it that much. But we can't have these upgraded, beautiful 3D models of Cloud and Barrett, still lining up in a row, jumping forward to attack an enemy, then jumping back to wait for their next turn. That would be bizarre. Of course there will likely be changes there."

Meh.

I'm not saying they can't change the battle system. They should. But if they get too active with it it's going to kill and enthusiasm I have for it. Part of what I love about ATB is the ability to control every one and really think out battles. Final Fantasy kind of sucks at this because the games usually are too easy, but I still feel like it's what makes older JRPGs what they are. I hate stuff like the later FF battle systems because it feels more like numbers flashing with little input from me. Which is sometimes fine. I like FFXV. But I don't want FFVII to be FFXV. I want FFVII to be FFVII just updated and expanded.

So I'm not really looking forward to this anymore until I see some actual gameplay footage. As much as I think Nomura's designs are silly, I still think he puts out good games. I just hope he doesn't think this one.

Now if Hiroyuki Ito gets on board with this I'll be way more interested.

So there's a petition with over 10k signatures calling for Nintendo to cancel Metroid Prime: Federation Force. I don't even.

That's stupid.

I can understand wanting to change the name and even make it a new IP since it seems like it has nothing to do with Metroid...but why would you want less games?

Also my x number of most anticipated games:

1. Persona 5

2. Shin Megami x Fire Emblem

3. Fire Emblem Fates

4. Super Mario Maker

5. Fallout 4

6. Kingdom Hearts 3

7. The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes (I wasn't excited initially but now that I'm looking at it I really want it)

8. Star Ocean 5

9. The Last Guardian

10. Yoshi's Woolly World

EDIT: Also South Park somewhere in there.
