It's okay, Puffin; I'm sure Kaye will spend a lot more time looking at Hayama's outfit than he, hers. ;)

 

Only added about 70 words last night. Reeeally wasn't feeling the writing, but while helping Puffin search for waltz music, I idly wrote a few sentences down. I'm hoping that this next scene will kick me into gear for a bit, because I'm looking forward to writing it. Maybe after work.

Not really because I wanted to, but because I worked 11-10 today, but didn't actually get home till after 11:30. Tired.

Didn't get to write today, either... worked 11-9:45 and once again ended up not getting home till 11:45. ):

I thought I wasn't going to end up writing tonight, but then I wrote a sentence while chatting with Puffin about having difficulty writing, and then I said "your turn!" and then she raised me another, so I wrote three and raised her to four...and then I wrote 20 more when she was off eating dinner. XD 

 

So in the end, +389 words!

 

Oh, the ways we get each other to write sometimes. 

(It helps that we're both so competitive.)

A local friend invited me out to a mini "write-in" this afternoon since we both needed some motivation. As a result, I ended up nearly tripling my word count~ (Which sounds better when I phrase it that way.) A lot of my text is in the form of parentheticals that describe things I will flesh out later, but hey, words have been written.

Congrats!! :D There's supposedly a write-in near where I work tomorrow. If Tara was working, I'd totally go since I have the day off.

To make this easier, I got in about 1200 words total~

21,419 words. Mind you, I quit writing after a certain point because a) writer's block struck hard and b) school work. sigh.

Arcane total:

+3,489 words added officially to the story

+374 words in to-be-added segments

 

+531 words in a Dragon Age fanfic that I didn't end up going anywhere with, but writing is writing!

 

so 4,394 words for the "month" (which ended up being about 12 days thanks to a mix of writer's block and a hectic work schedule...)

 

I'd really like to attempt this again in a few months, after the holiday season is over. Let's have, like, Marchorimo or something.

We could aim for a year challenge. "The Twelve Months of Wrimo". With goals that you can choose when to accomplish.

Like, 12 word count goals, and you decide if you want to aim for the biggest first, or mix it all up.
