I'll do my best. A big part of the first session will just be trying to figure out all the technical stuff.

 

Oh, what time is everyone thinking? There are many hours on Friday. Almost 25 in fact!

Actually, if Fox can get on earlier, could we do it around, say, 3 pm EST/12 pm MST? That may be too soon, but I just figured I'd throw the suggestion out there since Fox hasn't replied to 2 pm MST. I can still do the later time, it'd just be slightly easier. (Plus it looks so far like it'll only be the three of us, since Xteven hasn't posted in a while, and Kasper's busy)

I was actually going to suggest pushing the time back. 2pm is early in the day for me. But since people are wanting it even earlier, I can make 2 work.

First, do you think you'll be available this week? I'm good for any time either Thursday or Friday.

 

Second, I don't think anything was recorded, but I can summarize the session.

 

Regarding Roll20, we're still figuring stuff out. The built-in character sheets offer some nice functionality, but they're a hassle to manage, so we're going to keep our characters in separate files. I also recommend using Chrome since our two Firefox users struggled with the website for whatever reason. And the built-in voice chat is frustrating, so we talked over Skype instead.

 

Fox did his best to make character creation as random as possible to counter my having prepared multiple characters in advance, but Puffin and I both ended up more or less with what we wanted anyway. I poked fun at him for this to no end. That said, I will be playing a rather short and stocky Half-Orc Magus (a magic swordsman), and Puffin will be playing a Catfolk Sorcerer who loves fire spells. Both of us were rather unlucky with the rolls to determine our HP, however, so we're fairly squishy. A companion who can heal and/or take lots of hits would be a nice addition to the group. ...Although thinking about it, we're lacking in several other areas as well, so anything could be a help, really. xp

Also, apparently Roll20 not working with firefox isn't new or unique. A friend who uses it regularly says any browser, other than chrome, is just bound to crash.

I have to work tomorrow since I took time off on Wednesday to go to a job fair. I won't be available until the evening.

You work until 6:00, right? So figuring 7:00 to be safe, that's 10:00 Eastern.

I'm free basically every day but Wednesday and Thursday this coming week. Also, I think we should avoid scheduling games only a day in advance, it's a little short notice.
