So I got a $30 Master card for steam ('Cause using a debit card is too mainstream.) and thought, hey, Skyrim is 30 bucks, and so is Civ V, so I thought, "My mother thinks I am high when I tell her about video games... my sister thinks I'll live with my mother unitl I am dead... my friends are outside... I am on MP..." so what do you guys think? The juggernaut RPG Skyrim? Or the strategy turn based game Civ V?
:/

Civ V
We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!

What OS does Morrowind and Civ IV run on MonkeyDog?

You didn't ask me but Marrowind can run on xp and up. Civ 4 can run from 95 and up. Don't get Civ 4 though... Civ V is worth it.

I really like Civ V and Skyrim too, just to be on the record. I actually think Civ V may be better than Civ IV, although it does do some things different that I don't much care for, but I do enjoy them both on basically the same level.
I just think it's better to buy two games of comparable quality than just one that might be a bit better.
Or just wait a month until the Summer Sale and buy every god damn thing.

I like the idea of, "...Wait for the Summer sale and buy every God damn thing..." I am going to expect Civ V to maybe be 10$.

Skyrim will likely be 50-75% off at different times during the summer sale, which is probably not very far off. Has a date been announced yet? I never keep track.

Glad to see you are going with Civ V, that's what I was going to say too.
Dropping down a well that time forgot
With scars that show that we care a lot
In the sky we dreamt like a juggernaut
Of the things we'd do and what we saught
