Yo, Nintendo, when's F-Zero?

The first pack of Mario Kart 8 DLC has the Blue Falcon and a Mute City course, but it's all super disappointing because everything feels so slow and just makes you wish you were playing F-Zero.

I hope it never happens. I love F-Zero too much to see it on a post-GCN console.

...Unless Nintendo sells it to someone who will put it on PC. (hah!)

I dunno, it could be fun to play with motion controls, if only to elbow jab the person sitting next to you in order to attack their racer in the game.

The F-Zero game in Nintendoland is alright. Just really weird.

I dunno. I could go for another F-Zero. Maybe in the next generation instead of the Wii U. I don't think we have nearly enough extreme speed futuristic style racers.

You know what should make a come back? Extreme-G. Those games were awesome.

I'd agree that a new F-Zero is highly overdue, but I just can't help but think of Star Fox Command and Metroid Fusion Redux Other M.

So Mario kart 8 is pretty friggin' sweet. I actually feel like it's a nice mix of Mario Kart antics with F-Zero GX inspired tracks.

And though I've already mentioned that the Wii U streaming is pretty nifty, I recently discovered that it is good enough to stream ~30 feet through two walls. Why is this important? Because when the new Zelda comes out, I'll probably play most of it lying in my bed.

We should play some time!

Although I said the same thing to BottomGuy and that never happened. It's been a while since I've played Mario Kart 8 though, been mainly focused on Smash Bros and Donkey Kong Country when I turn my Wii U on.

The distance from my console to my bed is to big for the WiiGamepad to reach. I'm forced to chose between 3 option

1 : Move the console
2 : Don't play from the bed
3 : Start sleeping on the Sofa (convertable to something that resebles a bed)

Jeez, how far away are you keeping the console? When we played Wii Party U, there was a game where you moved water from a bucket (the gamepad) to a pitcher (the console). We put the game pad two and a half rooms away and up stairs to make it challenging since you have to ballance the remote to not spill water. So where exactly is your console? And are you playing on a television or just the gamepad?

It's an issue with the system, and it will only get worse. I noticed mine doing the same thing a while ago, I couldn't be more than about ten feet from the console, then two feet, and now, if the gamepad isn't sitting on top of the console, I get constant errors about it disconnecting. For the most part, this is fine since many games don't require the gamepad, but right now I can't play Nintendoland (not that I would really want to), I'm down to two controllers for my three person family, and Netflix is unusable.

On the plus side, Nintendo says I can send it in for a free repair, which I really need to get on while I'm still under warranty, but... *lazy*

Nintendoland (not that I would really want to)

The Mario Chase game is awesome though.

Like 90% of that game is meh but there is some solid multiplayer in it. I wish it was expanded on somewhere else.

I actually do like a lot of the games in it, and if it came as a download or something(and my gamepad worked), I'd be more apt to play it, but as it is, it's too much hassle and not nearly fun enough. If I'm going to roll my fat ass off the couch get up and walk ALL THE WAY across the living room, I'm probably going to put in Smash Bros or something.

I was briefly tempted to buy a Wii U when I saw that it's slightly on sale at Best Buy. Then I remembered once again how many games I already have that I haven't played yet, and I lost enthusiasm. There has yet to be a game out for it that I feel like I absolutely have to play. Even Smash Bros somehow didn't do it for me, and I was super excited for it. Maybe the next Zelda will provide enough impetus for a purchase.

I probably wouldn't have bought one, either, if I didn't want to play games like Mario Kart with my four year old daughter.

Oh, I love mine too! At least, I did when it worked, but I'm just saying I probably wouldn't have bought it if not for specifically wanting to play certain games with certain people.
