Although I like the look of the starters, Pokemon has lost its charm I feel. It's a bit overwhelming to keep up with so many releases.
On the plus side, each release seems to also update gameplay mechanics, and the whole global trading network seems like a huge step up from the link cables from back in the day.
I almost wish it were mobile, so I wouldn't have to purchase and carry around another device just to play some more games.

Hmm... This is the first new Pokemon generation that I didn't hate the starters upon first seeing them. I actually kind of like them all, and I'm kind of excited for this. I might have to get a 3DS now.

I kinda like how simplistic those are. Though I doubt they're real, lately over the top and complicated is more Pokemon's style.

No, they are not real. One, they are in the wrong art style. Second, I saw the original single image that had all three of them on the artists dA page and then on PokeMemes.

Well the typing make sense because of the type effectiveness./>How does Grass/Bug make sense? It's a mammal!
Also, you don't know 100% for sure it's a mammal or if it won't evolve into a bug type thing. I mean it probably is a hedgehog...but it's a Pokemon. It doesn't need to follow real world laws. I mean I understand your point, and I agree, but I just really hope those types are the fully evolved types because that'd be awesome.
