Oh, that works then. It's basically what I was going for. Something fancy and more designer-esque.
Holy crap, it's art!

Is the second one you're describing Pepe in the Rain? Just cuz otherwise I don't know what pic you're talking about. :p
But thanks! :D I worked on the Vengeance painting for months before it was finished, and it's only the first in the series. There will be at least three painting in this format, each with a specific theme.

Was this one (Vengeance) done with oils? (I'm trying to tell if the texture is due to the paints or the canvas, partly for curiosity, partly for future reference.)
That aside, it looks quite fanceh. I'd ask whom the target of his vengeance is, but I'll wait for the book.
Looking forward to seeing the rest of this series.

Yeah, basically 90% of my painting is done with oils nowadays. The texture is from both the canvas and the paints, but most of it's from the latter this time around because of the way I painted it. Ordinarily, I would sketch out the entire painting first, then painting the background, character and all that in one layer. But here I painted the sky and water first, then the border, then the wooden slats and then finally painted over all of that with Hayama. So, any little bumps and ridges that the paint created on the lower layers would still show (and be added to) after Hayama was painted.
Also, in case anyone's interested, this is what the painting looked like before Hayama was added. I was really happy with how the water and the clouds turned out, so I had to take a picture of the background by itself.

Sooo, I drew a nekkid lady. She's one of the characters from mine and SHE's RP. I realized I hadn't drawn her in a long while, so I started doodling and then somewhere along the way she lost her clothes. Whoops.
Though, really this was a lot of fun to color and I'm pretty fond of the way it came out.

Stayed up and made some art, also figured I'd post some other stuff I've made recently, while I'm at it.
Back in December I redesigned Kite a bit. For reference (since I rarely draw him or many of the Arcane characters) he used to look like this. He now looks like this. I hated his hair style and have for quite a while. It's looked exactly the same since I first drew him in fifth grade- holy shit that was fifteen years ago- I've had these characters for fifteen fucking years what- so, to say the least, he was due for a change.
I liked his hair so much that I decided to draw him in full for the first time in who knows how long. What is he looking at? Who knows, the world will never know. (until the book is finished, because this is actually an illustration!)
Then a little while back I drew this couple dancing.
I've been experimenting with this flat coloring style for a while and, I gotta say, I enjoy it immensely. I don't get hung up on details and I really like using softer color palettes. Colored lineart is also a thing lately. I won't lie, I actually developed this style for my more racy work, since it's a lot less time consuming to color this way and I feel the palette suits intimate situations a bit better. But I felt that it was lazier than some of my other art styles, so I kept it out of my more serious work. Then I realized how much more fun I was having drawing in this style and that it wasn't just because of the explicit content that usually accompanied it- so I have been drawing more and more in this style with other stuff.

No more anime hair for Kite? That's...actually, yeah, his new hair is definitely better.

If enough people are interested, I may be persuaded to post an excerpt. I already wrote out this scene, after all.

I drew a pic during math and colored it last night.
Largely inspired by this song, which reminded me of various character dynamics in Arcane: Resurrection.
Clockwise from the top: Kaye, Kate, Lea, Asona, and Peppin.
Edited to include an ordinary link to the pic. When I first posted the image, it was working, but I see now it's not. =/

New pic, this one a painted portrait of my character, Fox (no relation to Bottomguy).
I also have some other pics, in my sketchbook, but I haven't felt like scanning them yet (actually, in all honesty, my printer/scanner has kind of been acting weird and I don't want to deal with it right now...)

He has a dimple!
I also like the shine you managed on his earring. And how part of his hair is fuzzy while the other is sleek.

I'll probably have to look into this more when i've got the applicable funds.. Because art is fun.. and i can't art yet... :(
I have no amazing personality traits except the fact I'm British and People don't like my personality.. but i do have a British Accent so at least Some Americans can be angry and oddly happy at the same time.

One of these is a bit older, but I realized I never posted it here. So, here you go.
The blonde guy is the same person in both pics, In the first one is his boyfriend, Fox, in the second it's a good friend of his, Davahl (they intentionally were designed to look similar, so wanted to clarify that).
