+ Unlike the last trainee I "had" (aka filled in for the person who had them), this one's really cool
+ It's Saturday!
+ I don't work tomorrow!

+ Picked up two more days of work yesterday
------ I didn't realize one of them was Easter until after I hung up
+ Thinking about bringing Easter eggs in and hiding them in the control room

+ McDonald's still serves dinner items at 3:30 am

- Got 3 hours of sleep or less last night
+ Due to an awesome Scion session
+ Passed out on the train, so got an extra hour or so there
+ Have an hour+ till stuff for my shift starts
+ So I can get more sleep
- But naturally I'm awake now
- And totally won't be in an hour and a half, when work will start for real

I get paid well, but the NY economy levels means that even if I worked 40 hours a week, 4 week s a month, 3 of my weeks would go entirely to rent. So I still don't make enough to move out of the house (unless I can find roommates and a cheaper part of NY, admittedly).

I can't even say it's for experience because I won't use teleprompting outside of the news station (I want to go into film, and they don't use prompters there). But it's a great thing to have on my resume for the future, and a great way to break into the industry. So it's cool.

- Still woke up at 9 am because I +crashed for a few hours when I got home yesterday

Your roommate sounds like an ass. Maybe you should just let things settle and see if living with him is still an option for a while so you can settle and meet people in Nashville. It may be better than the alternative, and may end up in what you even if you have to endure such an asshole for a while.
