Isn't that the worst?

I hate that specifically in web design, since I do it so sparingly lately. I have to go back and look at all my old stuff to remember how to do anything.

This happened to me lately but instead of looking at my old stuff I just read a bunch of W3Schools stuff and now my HTML is better than ever! I actually made a site pass the XHTML 1.1-STRICT test!

I did something like that a year or two ago? I had just been so out of practice I picked up a few books, on HTML, CSS, and Javascript. And I became so much better in all of them overall. It was nice.

---- The outlets on our side of the bus wasn't working...
+ Wifi options were "Megabus" and "Mega Shitty Internet"
+ Both had five bars
--- But didn't actually work except for sporadically
+ Played Portal
- Portal rapidly drained my battery
-- Still no working outlets on my side of the bus

+ Bus ride was quiet
- Until we picked up more people and that one person who always plays their music loud enough (with headphones on) so that the entire bus can enjoy it with them sat right across the aisle from me...
+/- Bus was supposed to get in at 12:30 a.m.

+ I have permission to sleep over at work
+ Which is good because no way in hell was I getting home before my shift at
- 7:45 a.m. begins

+ Cop cars everywhere. I felt safe.

+ Managed to squeeze in an embroidery commission I need for one of the ponies I'm making as gifts.
- The guy doing it is busy preparing for an upcoming con, so hopefully it'll be ready in time...

Correction: Finally made it to NYC. :p I still have to finish up my shift and then get home using the limited transportation to LI. Thankfully, I actually travel on one of the major lines to get home, so that line is (mostly) back up and running.


Forgot to mention
---- Completely random nosebleed on the bus. Seriously, there was no reason whatsoever for this one.
+Luckily I had tissues.

- Reheated Subway sandwich is not delicious.

- I work at 5 a.m. tomorrow...
- Which means a 2:30 a.m. train
+ But thanks to the altered train schedule, I'm getting in a half hour later than I usually would.
++ Which is good, since now I'm only getting to work an hour early, instead of an hour and a half
- Though I'll have to walk to work since the subways aren't working (I like walking to work...just not so early in the morning.)

+ Was supposed to have a day off tomorrow!
- But then work called and asked me to come in
+ But it works out because I'm stuck at work!
- I'M STUCK AT WORK. ;-;
+ I'm not really stuck, I just didn't want to go home just to have to turn around and get back on a train to work.
- So I'm basically stuck anyway.
- Especially because I wouldn't have known that the trains would have resumed (on a limited basis) at 8:16
- Considering from the time they were first suspended (6:20) till the time they resumed, none of us on the train knew what was going on.
- So I said screw it and went back to work.
+ Work probably would have gotten me a hotel room, since they've been doing that for weather-related strandees.
- But I'm getting stupidly anxious thinking about all the steps involved in that process
- Probably because I'm tired and emotional and just can't deal with it right now
- So I'm staying at work for the night
+ I know of a couple of places I can curl up in to hopefully sleep for a few hours
+ I found someone willing to let me borrow their phone charger
+/- only for an hour ):

Mine too. Kinda. The store I work at is going to be open 25 hours between Thanksgiving night and Black Friday.
I work twice during that 25 hour stretch. Open (even if that is at 10pm) and close. Blah.
