I have a hard time believing that. It would be awesome if it was real, but it's not. I would report that ASAP.

 

+++++ Got a new job.

- Taking a little bit of a pay cut.

++++ Will get more time with the family.

--- Got my first ever speeding ticket for going 5 over the limit. Didn't think they wasted time with that, but now I know.

+++ VP and I got our bonuses from work yesterday!

- Had to use nearly half of said bonus for new tires.

- Being an adult sucks sometimes.

---- Flight was delayed this morning.

---------- Missed connecting flight to Orlando. :/

----------------- The airline wanted us to fly to Charlotte at 11pm tonight, get there at 6am, then flight to Orlando and get there around noon.

++++ Talked them out of that craziness.

----- Because missing a day of our conference no matter what. 

-- Stuck in Phoenix.

++++++++++++ But got a free (separate) room at a nice hotel. I'm even on a special "club" floor with hardwood floors and it is nice.

--- Have to leave early tomorrow.

++ But it's a straight trip to Orlando.

 

Kind of defeats the biggest purpose on why we're even going, as most of the stuff we both really wanted to see was tomorrow...but oh well. Having a good adventure with someone I work with but am still good friends with out of work. So it's worth it.

Why are you going to Orlando, I wonder?

+++ Got a lot done in my art classes, putting me on track to have them finished in time for finals~

++++ Went to a creative writing open mic and read a short story- first time I've done it on stage and it went well. :D

++++++ 4 pieces in the student art show this year.

+++++++++ Plus, I won a art-major specific scholarship! Especially important to me because winners are chosen by the professors who have basically been my mentors, so it's cool to be recognized by them. :>
