Been cycling through Folklore, Ragdoll Kung Fu, The Conduit, GH: World Tour, and Catan depending on which TV is available and whether I'm playing alone or have friends over.

I'm a almost 2/3 done with Folklore, and I'm still trying to get the controls set the way I like in The Conduit.

Tried the demo for Armored Core 4, and it was laaaame. Missions lasted about two minutes (first one had a time limit of 180 seconds and was finished in 113), and you couldn't customize the mechs at all. I'm going to have to rent Armored Core for Answer sometime to see if a full game is significantly better.

After realizing that I've never actually beaten a Final Fantasy game (I usually get to the last string of bosses and stop caring), I've decided to play and beat Final Fantasy VI

Hmm, and now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever beaten any RPG except for Tales of Symphonia. I are lame,

EDIT: Hmm, I have no idea how my sig ended up being Sunday's extra-big Sinfest (Not only does the script not work on Sunday ... but it's already Monday. Where's today's sinfest?) ... but sorry for the oversize'd sig. It'll go away soon,

I've seen your sig a day behind several times before now. Might want to have that looked at.

I've never completely a numbered Final Fantasy. The only ones I've finished are Mystic Quest, Tactics, and Tactics Advance. I downloaded some ISOs for FFVII yesterday for some reason, but I haven't played it so far.

Usually (from what I've seen, at least) that happens because of a cache.

It's weird that Sunday's comic got caught. Then again, it seems that the comics have been updating a bit later than usual, and my script check for updates really early ... it's possible that Monday's comic was put up some time after my script checks it.

I dunno, things are fixed now.

Blu/Jim- if you guys havent played a numbered one and beat it, i def. suggest 8 or 9 on the ps1. by far those two are the best. 6 drags on and gets hard to care about after a certain point, but the others are totally engrossing.

ive been playing age of empires 2 a lot lately

FFIX was one of the ones that I played up to the final bosses. And 'tis my favorite'st FF game, although I've really only played 9, 10, and X-2, so there isn't much to compare it to.

In other news, I've given up on FFVI because I'm lame.

8

It is all of a matter of what you're looking for in a game.

Because I hate 8. I tried playing it again last month and got up to Irvine and lost interest. That game so badly bores me at all times.

I love VI though, that game keeps my interested a lot towards the end (but I can understand why one would not be so interested in the ending of that game, considering everything is really just a side quest).

FFVII playing still. I may give up soon. I hate Cosmo Canyon, so boring.

  • I've barely played I or II.
  • I got a little ways into III, then got annoyed at the part where you have to shrink everyone to get through a tiny dungeon (normal attacks did around 1 damage, and I only had one trained mage).
  • I nearly finished IV a long time ago, but it was a rom on an old computer, so I don't have the save file anymore. I made good progress on the GBA port but haven't played it in some time.
  • I got a good ways into V but don't have that file anymore either.
  • I got a little ways into the world of ruin in VI but stopped playing for some reason; also don't have that file anymore.
  • I was still on the first disc of VII when I returned it to the guy who lent it to me.
  • I used to own VIII but didn't like it.
  • I'm only on the first disc of IX, but I still have my file for it, and I plan to play it again eventually.
  • I haven't played X, X-2, or XI.
  • I own a copy of XII but have barely played it so far.
  • I plan to get XIII when it comes out, but not XIV since I don't play MMOs.

I've beat VII, and got to the end of every Final Fantasy except the spin offs (I got to the end of Tactics, X-2, and beat Tactics Advance) except XI and XII. (but have played both)

And I've gotten to the end of V~X like a billion times for each game. Just whenever I get to the end of games, I usually go meh.

Since we're talking Final fantasy, I was recently playing Tactics A2, and have given up on it because it is stupid.

And last night I finally beat the blasted campaign of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. I enjoyed the game thoroughly, but I'm glad it's over... the last few missions are friggin' hard.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

i didnt play the first 3 ff games, i loved 4 because i felt it was the perfect size, around 30 hours. i played a good amount of 6, but it just bored me after the whole esper world side story, i just cant care about a world within a world, its too disconnected. i liked what i played of 7, but didnt get far. i love 8 because its more modern, and the draw system was a neat idea. 9 is my fav. b/c it was so epic at the time.
