Still playing Etrian Odyssey~.

I failed at life a little while ago. I went and stocked up on all sorts of healing items, and then trekked through four or five floors of the labyrinth to get to the monster I needed to fight, only to discover after going up against the boss that I forgot to buy reviving items. >.> So when my healer died, I was soundly defeated two turns later.

Trying again.

I managed to finish Mirror's Edge on hard this morning, without shooting any enemies, winning me two trophies. I've also unlocked all the time trial maps and gotten a rating of 20 for two more trophies. I think that puts me up to 54%.
The only ones I have left (minus the new trophies for the add-on) are higher time trial ratings, the rest of the speed runs (only done the prologue and chapter 1 so far), and the platinum trophy for getting all the others.

I probably won't be going for these any time soon, what with with all the homework I've been putting off, not to mention I'm generally terrible at finding shortcuts. =p

EDIT: 61% for Prince of Persia now~

The main problems are that the story mode is way too short (supposedly made up for with time trials), and that the game is inconsistent. The impression people got was that you could find multiple paths to get across sprawling rooftop levels, but most of the levels are fairly linear, and even more so when they switch to indoor areas.
The game frequently tells you to run away from groups of enemies, and yet there are many areas in which you are confronted with large groups that are difficult to ignore; and if you do try to fight, the combat is quite clunky, especially when you get to the only true boss fight (that's not just a single quick time event) near the end with nothing to really give you any practice in previous levels.
Also, the animation style for the cutscenes turned a lot of people off.

Still, it shows a lot of promise if they were ever to make a sequel, and some of the time trial levels are admittedly quite enjoyable. I'd give it a rent, but it's not really worth the price of a full game (though I still fully intend to platinum the darned thing eventually).

I'm playing GTA IV.

I love Grand Theft Auto so much, so fun...but IV is seriously a misstep compared to San Andreas and Vice City.

rediscovering the PlayStation delights of International Superstar Soccer Pro. insane ball physics mean that you can pretty much start attacks with defensive headers which makes for exciting and ridiculous matches.

WHAT!

Links Awakening DX is like the best Zelda ever.

The Oracle games, while great, are a bit excusable...but missing out on Links Awakening and Minish Cap? Crazy speak.

Only problem with Minish Cap is...well...I remember buying that like the day it came out, and beating it like the day it came out. But that didn't take away how fun it was.

Yeahhhh I know...it's just I never really played too much gameboy. I obsess over Zelda so it seems weird that i havent played all of them. The only gameboy game i think i have ever played is pokemon blue (which was the best!) Ill definitely get on playing Links Awakening after Minish. But for redemption points id like to mention that ive beaten every non gameboy game of zelda!

My friend left his 360 at my house so I've been playing Assassins Creed a bunch. It's really interesting so far. I love the way it flows, makes it fun.

I've never beaten the first two games, and it makes me sad (also Master Quest, but I'm not sure that counts as a separate game).
I managed to get to the ninth dungeon in Zelda 1, but when I got to a room with four locked doors and only had one key, I got tired of raising money to buy more keys. Zelda 2 I was just never any good at. =p

Well youre not missing out on much with Zelda 2, i was never a big fan of it. 9th dungeon on the first one is really far...that bites about the key though! And master quest is just like the original i failed to notice that it was "harder." My favorite is OoT!

Master Quest was mostly difficult because they mixed the puzzles around in the dungeons. I think it took me 30 minutes to complete the Deku Tree instead of 10 for normal OoT. I got to the Spirit Temple in Master Quest but couldn't get past the foyer. =p
Sadly, I think it was our NES copy of Zelda 1 that I nearly finished, and our NES broke many years ago. T_T

I was playing Fallout 3, but it's too time consuming. So now I'm trying to go through my disgustingly large list of purchased yet incomplete games, starting with Sam and Max: Season 1 and Lost Planet.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.
