Next time I catch you online, you're goin' down. even though i'm not used to the new set-up yet...

I stopped playing with The Orange Box lately, along with a lot of my other games. I'll get back to them eventually. Currently, I am simultaneously playing:
-Guitar Hero 3
-Assassin's Creed
-Crackdown
-Blue Dragon
All are proving to be fun, with AC being the least fun of them all so far surprisingly. o_o Blue Dragon is very, VERY anime-ish and oldschool J-RPG faggoty, but immense fun, and Crackdown, even though I finished half of it in two hours, has that crucial thing that so many games lack: pure, undiluted fun.
And GH3 speaks for itself.

Oddly enough, me too. After having re-bought it for cheap for use with new grablix card.Oblivion...
Yep. Game still sucks. There doesn't seem to be any hope for it whatsoever.

I remember people used to always say Bethesda should remake Morrowind with the same gameplay mechanics as Oblivion (with weapons that don't "miss" and being able to cast spells with a weapon drawn and whatnot), but I almost think it would be interesting to have Oblivion remade using Morrowind's engine.Oddly enough, me too. Except now that I've said that, maybe it wouldn't be all that great anyway. They should just hurry up and get started on Elder Scrolls V if they haven't already, keeping all the good stuff from the last games (custom faces, Morrowind's variety of factions and guilds, Oblivion's combat system, Morrowind's skills, Patrick Stewart, etc.) and get rid of the not-so-good stuff (leveled enemies and items; 'nuff said).

Wait.... No, I haven't. It's just so damn fun of a game.... Haven't had this kind of awesomeness since I first stumbled upon Contra III (and subsequently played until I could beat it on Hard with no continues.... Still can.... Ahh, free time.)
I recently beat Contra 4 on Normal, surprisingly hard, even for a Contra vet like me...
(and I can honestly say I am a Contra veteran. I've beaten Contra {NES}, Super C, Contra III {as stated above}, Contra Hardcorps {I've gotten all endings with all characters on Harcorps. HA.} and Shattered Soldier. Yeesh.)
I also got a Gameboy Micro, so I've been re-playing my GBA games. (even though technically my DS can play them better..... it... It's a Gameboy Micro..... So fucking tiny.....)
Oh, and lots of Perfect Dark....
So much Perfect Dark...
(yes, the first N64 one. Haven't looked at the sequel yet...)

Now that I have a Micro, I'm suddenly compelled to play my GBA games all over again.
(man, I gotta get back into Advance Wars once I'm done with Castlevania... Gee whiz.)
