It's only similar to Borderlands in the art style and environment. The gameplay (minus driving) is set up a lot more like Bioshock. For the record, I really like Rage.

On the final, final boss of Ys: Seven.

Let's just say I'm really, really glad of two things.
1. That I bothered to material-grind for two days in order to make the ultimate weapon for all seven of my characters, rather than just the three I planned to use in the battle.
2. That the PSP pauses the game when it shuts off, rather than force you back to your last save point.

Just need to wait for the battery to recharge...Then I shall beat the game!

Don't count on that, you're just putting it into "sleep" mode. You CAN turn it off, and loose all data since the last save. Trust me, I've done it on other games plenty of times.

Yeah, I have too, but usually only if I leave it turned off for too long. And either way...the battery died in the middle of the final part of the fight while I was out shopping with mom, so there really wasn't anything I could do about it anyway.

......Curse me and my big mouth and lack of knocking on wood. -just dropped her PSP and the battery popped out- -sighs and prepares for the four-tier boss battle all over again...-

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, thanks to my super fantastic husband. I don't even care that they're mildly childish, Kingdom Hearts games are fun. Except for that card based fighting bullshit. I'm glad that they don't all have that nonsense.

one of my friends has to play portal 1&2 for school.::jealous::

playing gta4 online. deathmatch is fun with kamikaze helicopters. lots of people hack their guns for one shot kills.

I've started another run through of Mass Effect. I tried playing a new character, but I don't think it's going as well as I wanted. First, I wasn't able to have green hair, but the character is supposed to. Second, seeing things happen from a different perspective (even if only slightly) is really jarring for some reason. It probably doesn't help that I've put more hours in Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 than my daughter has put in to her whole life. I don't know if I'm going to go on with this character.

So...I beat Limbo. The game clock says it took 3 hours, but that's including pauses to talk to people. Good thing it was only $5. It was fun though, even if it stopped being creepy/scary half way through.

I went over to a friend's house and their housemate had an SNES and I beat Super Mario World with ease. It was a wonderful feeling.
