Cheers, I might try this with a gamepad then./>
This game sounds kind of interesting but I've heard the PC port is terrible. What are you playing it on?
playing From Dust. it's a really cool lemmings inspired game where you move elements of an environment to get your villagers to build towns and discover things
PS3. it's the kind of game where a controller would make you feel more involved with the plot. for me, a mouse an keyboard are too disconnecting.
What are you playing?

EDIT: Ah ha, it was hidden! There's a new PS2 Classics section under Only on PSN, and those games aren't listed under View All by Title for some reason.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

you awaken in the intestinal tract of satan. you must defeat the hydra to escape. your only weapon is righteous anger.

So I tried out the survival thing. And I actually went on your server to sort of dick around (By the way, very impressive stuff) and it just took too long. It took forever to get any sort of resources, and on several occasions I drowned because the game wouldn't let me swim back up. Death doesn't really suit a building game. I didn't build anything but I couldn't help feeling like I'd be very upset to get on one day and find that a bunch of monsters had come by and tore up my creations. It's like coding trolls into your game.
I also didn't like the whole day/night dynamic. I mean this game is supposed to be about building, right? But I have to spend have the time waiting for daylight so I can see what I'm doing. I guess I just got spoiled because I had a couple Lego games way back in the day (Before any of that Star Wars or Indiana Jones crap) that were purely about building. I understand why notch put all of that in there, but it just isn't for me.

Or, to put it more politely, "Neener neener."

been playing nba jam on fire edition. lindsay is actually better than me at this. she makes all the three point shots
today i blew through the Honest Hearts dlc of fallout new vegas. i was really dissappointed because it was very short, and the overall feel of it was very narrow. you help a tribe fight off another tribe in a radiation free national park. there's three story quests to it, and all are either fetch quests, or blast your way over there type quests. they were very easy, and even at level 8, i was overpowered. not worth it at all. Dead Money on the other hand, which i played right when it came out, was a very interesting side-step. it experiments with a lot different of a style as the main game, which makes it a worthwhile play. i still havent decided on lonesome road and old world blues, especially since i was so turned off by honest hearts.

I had no idea how cheesy the trailer was. Honest. I still enjoy the game. (Mostly because the main bad guy is voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz aka Invader Zim!)

Buuut Skyrim is still taking up all my time, so I'm not sure how soon I'll get around to Zelda.
