The game of the year edition for PC and the Ipad version both have more content, from what I understand.

Well, I figure I can't complain too much since I didn't pay anything for it.

I've been playing dhm's Starless Umbra a lot.

Totally better than Legend of Legia. Which is sad.

An RPG Maker game? Craziness.

I've been playing Final Fantasy XIII. Not really much I can say that hasn't been said about it already, I s'pose. It's just like...if you're going to streamline the combat this much, why even have it be turn-based? This game could have easily been a hack-n-slash and been tons better. I don't know. I'm only a few hours in, and it gets better as paradigms and magic or whatever gets unlocked, so we'll see.

I assure you, Starless Umbra is about a million times better than FFXIII. That shit is terrible bro.

/>I lol'd...

I just played the first Assassin's Creed and gave up on it about halfway through. Apparently the second one is tons better, though.

I spent a week hardcore on Assassin's Creed, got bored of it and then finished it a year and a half later, but the second one is a million times improved upon teh first. Couldn't believe the jump in quality.

I played Alchemy for several hours this weekend with my brother while he was visiting. (It's not multiplayer, but we were collaborating.) Starting with the four classic elements, we managed to combine our way up to more complex elements like Mario, Jedi, Robin Hood, and Ghost Busters.

Borderlands. I purchased it during winter break when there were crazy discounts on Steam, but I have been unable to play it until this week with my new PC. Weird owning a game you can't play. Chose to play as the Soldier and specializing in machine guns and sniper rifles. Not that far yet, still getting ready to take on Sledge.

I would totally play with you if I ever caught you online. What's your steam name? (Though, both of my BL characters will be insanely over leveled for where you are in the game..)

I couldn't get into Borderlands when I played it on PS3 about a year back, it was just really... stagnant. And boring. Probably because I was playing it single-player.

Bought it the other month for like $10 on Steam, but I'm reluctant to pick it up again. Worth it?

I enjoyed it single player, but that's because it appealed to my OCD tendencies.

Though, multiplayer is much more fun.

I started Infamous 2 this afternoon. It feels pretty similar to the first game so far, except they periodically introduce a few new things which generally improve the experience. For instance, melee is actually worthwhile now that Cole has a weapon.

I had to chuckle a bit when I saw a list of movies on the front of a theater within the game. They were screening:
Assassins Need (Love Too)
Hey, Low Reach
No Need for Speed
Epic Hickey
Little Big Unit
Latch It and Skank
Sly!

TemplarKnight098

I'm finding myself unable to play very much since my hours have been extended at work. Weekends will probably be the best. And who cares if you're overleveled, it'll just be fun to kill things. I already get a blast one-shotting skags as the leap through the air at me. Can't wait to find a better sniper rifle though.

I'm given to understand that the weapons you get in Borderlands are randomly generated...to the point where you could wind up with a shotgun with a scope. Has this happened to any of you folks?

They're random within level tiers. bosses will always drop the same weapons, certain enemy types will always carry certain weapons (shotguns/pistols/revolvers) certain crates also have certain gun classes. some crates will always give you 4 revolvers/pistols and another random weapon. some always give you grenades and ammo.

if you haven't played Borderlands, it's a blast.
