I just completed Batman: Arkham Asylum. Overall I enjoyed it, though I doubt I could enjoy it again. The combat moves at a different pace than what I normally enjoy, and I think I'm just not very good at beat-em-ups.

The game gets a total A+ for presentation, though.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I been playing Pokemon Black. I'm liking it quite a lot, really. Though for some reason the names of the Pokemon annoy me a bit. The animations on the other hand, aren't half bad. I had assumed I wouldn't like them and they would grow tiresome, but it just works perfectly. Lots of other improvements make me like it even more, such as fancy text displays, camera angles, and such. I've noticed Pokemon have good move sets even at lower levels, so it really makes me want to try and put different Pokemon in my party. I personally think they accomplished their goal of refreshing the series.

This.
So Much.

(Playing White)

Third!

Although I have to say I hate that every time I start the game it asks about the stupid C-Gear thing. If I want it on I'll put it on. They really pushed Wi-Fi with this new release.

EDIT: Does anyone else think they made this generation as cute as possible? I swear they're all ADORABLE!

Honestly, there's very few new Pokemon designs that I actually like. Some fit in great, but some are just like, uhhh.... are these Digimon, or...?

/>i cant bring myself to pay full price for the new pokemon games. ill wait and get them used...

playing monster rancher ds. its a lot harder than i though it would be when i got it

I love Monster Rancher DS. It's actually a very great game. Your post reminds me that I haven't played it in awhile. Man, I've spent 40+ hours on that game alone, and I don't never played it much...

EDIT:
Also, finally beat Pokemon Black. Or... Beat the Elite Four, plus the stuff after that, so I don't spoil it for whoever... My playtime was about 20:15. Onto the future! Already found and caught a Shroomish. Can't wait to transfer over my Heart Gold pokemonz (Which includes my Emerald Pokemon o.o;).

The Scarecrow bits are so good. Fighting Bane eight times
Spoiler
not so much...But I've played through it twice and will probably rent it again, just because I'm a huge nerd for Batman things.

Also, I'm pretty pumped for Arkham City.

I think we already mentioned this, but I think they got lazy with names. Both Tony and I agree that 'Ducklett' sounds like something we'd say just 'cuz... or how Tony said I should have named 'Vanillice' 'Vanilla Ice'

I actually played a vide game today!

I found Muramasa for cheap on Amazon earlier this week, and I played it for a while after mailing my essay. It's quite pretty.

DS and I just had an all night gaming weekend. played games include:

- Rock Band 3
- Call of Duty Black Ops
- FIFA 10/11 ?
- Bulletstorm
- HALO 3

now I'm at work, extremely tired because of daylight savings changes and an overall lack of sleep during the weekend.

Hold up! When did your daylight savings happen? Ours was forever ago.

Due to the move I have played more PVZ than Pokemon White.

i just finished the last arena of Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, and it was a CHORE. but by the 7th round, there were people joining my game who had hacked weapons, and i just hid up in a corner and let them do it all. I have a hacked shield, i just didnt want them to leave my game if they saw me not killing anything.

My friend and I did the first round of Mad Moxxi, but after an hour of non-stop killing things without being able to save, at all, we both pretty much decided that it was crap and neither of us have played it since.

The first Suikoden. it's a good game and all, i just wish there was a run button. the character moves painfully slow, and there's not analog support, so i have to use the dpad, which can get tiresome
