Yes, because as we all know not only is religon the #1 deathrate generator but also a prison of your mind.

Religon should not be taught to people before they reach the mind state to correct truth from myth.
you should learn about the world religons in school, their history and their message of cause, but bringing up a child teaching from theday it is born that the man in the sky sees all and will strike you down to hell where you will burn forever if you commit a sin.

Now god doesn't all seem so helpful now does he?

No child is a christian, muslim, etc. It's like saying a 3 year old is a liberal or a republican. Religion is learned, not inherent.

this brings to mind the practice of baptism. is it like sneezing? is being "baptized" the equivalent of someone saying "HOORAY! you didnt die while sneezing/being dunked in "holy" water! YOU ARE BLESSED!" ???
