not really a screenshot per se, but i'm going to try to craft my entire world map.

once i finish villageburg i'll upload it somehow. the buildings all have doors, but theyre empty. kinda frustrated with the lack of tree variety. im going to need a lot of palms

@Kalamikaze - Not much of a Minecraft fan but it's a cool idea if you can pull it off. Hell you could add little movie sequences for your game using Minecraft!



Just the items store. I'm trying to give each store in the game a unique name through out. But not just that, some relating to the town or just it's name. Now that's me for awhile.

what engine are you using again? i could never find that script anywhere that displays the map name

He's using RM2K3, and I imagine it's just a couple extra lines of "code" on the teleport events. Or is it a common event?

why does rm2k3 get so much love? never understood it. it's got waaaaay more work involved than 2k or xp with that battle system. you want custom resources? fuck you. you gotta draw every single pose of your character, or he looks like an idiot standing there with sunglasses and armor on. does 2k3 even script? i had a dream i made some 2k3 game about saving the ladybug kingdom from evil. so i got 2k3, and the input-output ratio was orbiting Gliese. 9/10 times, i see 2k3 games that are Crono Triggerwet dreams. when do we get a demo Tau? i really want your game to be different.

don't mean to play the a*hole, drunk and hating most of the rm.net games i've looked into. so many people just copy popular stuff they see, and it's like damn, come up with your own ideas. the worst part is, their games are popular. whyinthehell do people like things they've already seen? it's like "awwwww sheeeeeiiiiiit, i can't handle this stuff. new ideas nshit."

still working on this one, there were some cave in issues. not sure why yet, but i'll come up with something.

@Bill - I like the addition of caves taking you to other places on the same map, adds more gameplay and is good game design in general. I use that technique :D



Edited the name & tile set over some controversy caused by them.
