I've purchased a laptop that I love very deeply, named Gordy. Windows XP with a Chrome inspired theme.

I normally have about 120 rotating backgrounds that I add to multiple times per week, but then santa came to me today.

I'll be using this until the end of the year.

Yes, that it is. I've tried Linux a few times before but this is the first distro that's been simple enough for me to understand. Now I love it!

I can be such a minimalist when it comes to design elements. On my new laptop, running Lucid Lynx:

Thank you! =) I'm running Gnome. No one up to this point, out of all the people I've showed, has said anything positive, leading me to believe that it didn't look as nice as I thought it did. Glad to see at least one person agrees with me!

It's i3, although not representative of what i3 normally looks like (because if I were to show it tiling things I'd be failing to post my desktop). Window shadows and transparancy handled by xcompmgr and transset-df, respectively.
