VP and I watched:
Jurassic World. It was great.
Chocolat. It was cute

VP introduced me to Rick and Morty. I like it well enough. I’m not sure why I like it. I find it odd in some many ways, but entertaining nonetheless.

I also watched:
How to Get Away with Murder
Agents of Shield
Mushi-Shi
Not Another Teen Movie. It’s still dumb…
Cashback
Sleepy Hollow

Finished season one of both Gravity Falls and Steven Universe (second time for me, first time for my brother), and MLP season five has ended, so we're getting back to Monster for the foreseeable future.

Because it is hilarious.

I've been kind of watching Fargo, which is amazing, and Nathan for You, which is also amazing.

I watched the Watchmen last night because Panda is obsessed. (Then I made him watch some One Punch Man to balance the scales.)

I enjoyed it. Rorschach reminded me a little of anti-hero Batman, mostly because of the affected voice. Manhattan is more OP than One Punch Man, which is saying something (and the two have similar personalities, which amused me greatly). I could tell who the bad guy was the moment I saw him, but to be fair to the other characters, I knew I was watching a movie, and these things tend to happen a certain way. Any super hero movie worth its salt needs snappy one-liners, and this had some good ones. My favorite was probably: "I'm not locked in with you. You're all locked in with me."

I was already planning to read the graphic novel eventually, but this might have provided the impetus to make it happen sooner.

Season 10 was put on Netflix last week.

It has two of my favorite episodes, Charlie Work and The Gang Goes on Family Fight.

I love that show. This season has an episode titled Charlie Catches a Leprechaun.

The new season of Sunny is really the only thing I'm actively watching (that isn't football). Bee and I got through some episodes of Making a Murderer last week, it was good.

Has anybody else been watching The Expanse? It's so good.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I was recently reminded that Megas XLR was a thing, and I don't recall watching very much of it back in the day. Going to see if that's worth rectifying.

EDIT: That setup was hella stilted, but it has potential. Gonna keep watching for now.

1) I think Megas XLR was a bust. I haven't yet felt any desire to go watch the second episode. I'm not avoiding it; I just keep forgetting, which does not bode well for the show.

2) The Gravity Falls finale was super special awesome.

3) Gradually making more progress on Monster. Eva has finally chilled the f*** out, and they appear to be on the best terms that could be expected at this point.

4) Reason I'm making this post: Finally saw Ant Man. I enjoyed it, but the science frustrated me. With the way the shrinking is explained (changing the relative distance of atoms), weight should not change. Density and pressure, sure, but not weight. Also, the whole sub-atomic bit makes no sense. The atoms don't get smaller; they get closer. You should not be getting smaller than atoms. I want to accept your premise, movie, but you're making it difficult for me.
