Just saw Inside Out.

I wasn't that interested, but my sister talked a bunch of us into going. I knew it would be better than I expected - because Pixar - and it was still better than I expected.

Ant-Man. Was pretty great.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

Are you just now starting to watch it or because there was a new episode today?

No I started last weekend because I was bored and lonely, the same reason everyone watches it.

Panda was over last night, and we watched a bit of Bojack Horseman.

I'm not surprised that he likes it, but I don't foresee watching more on my own time.

Got one of my friends to watch the pilot and a few random episodes of Case Closed. Dunno that he'll watch more on his own, but he seemed to enjoy it.

Well I went to see Straight Outta Compton and The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

The former, I recommend heavily. It's honestly one of the better biopics I've ever seen, and it had a subject matter that was actually relevant to people living in the past 100 years. It looks like it would be enjoyable, even if you aren't a huge fan of rap, or more specifically the NWA. If you are a fan of those two things, then you will absolutely love the movie. It skims over some details that aren't insignificant (female presence around the NWA and Dr. Dre's woman beating primarily), and it does at points glorify the lifestyle, although it does do a good job of being serious when it actually matters. A good look at how police brutality especially aimed at minorities was in the mid-late 80s. Really, it's worth seeing at least once, if for no other reason than to celebrate a revolution of music.

As for the latter, it was fun, I guess, kinda stupid, but not a bad movie. There are better spy movies out there, there are better comedies out there, and there are better spy-comedies out there (Spy for example, which came out earlier this year, is loads better), but if you are craving a decently stupid movie with lame one liners and a silly plot that you might have trouble following, you will enjoy this. It's really something, I'd suggest waiting for though, not really worth paying the price of admission, plus snacks, gas, etc, unless you are seeing it as a double feature.

All told, good movies.

Dropping down a well that time forgot
With scars that show that we care a lot
In the sky we dreamt like a juggernaut
Of the things we'd do and what we saught

Just finished Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, which is part 3 of the Jojo series. It only just finished airing this past June, so I am currently looking up to see if more is in the works. Apparently there are 8 parts to the story. So far. It's still in progress, despite the manga having debuted in 1986.

EDIT: Part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable, has not been confirmed for the anime, but people on the internet seem hopeful.

Watching Persona 4: The Animation, being careful not to go farther than I've played through in the game.

But since I basically already know the story, I'm watching someone's blind commentary. Enjoying it so far.
