Puffin convinced me to watch Young Justice. Now I'm halfway through the first season.

EDIT: And somehow Aqualad is the best. It makes no sense, but it's the truth.

Finished season one of Young Justice. There was much freaking out over Trillian during those last couple episodes.

Only one more episode of Young Justice to go. I fell behind Puffin for a while since she's on spring break, and I had a visiting niece with too much energy, but I marathoned a whole bunch on Wednesday. Now we're just waiting for both of us to be free at the same time so we can yell about stuff over Trillian as it happens.

I'm surprised this show only got two seasons. It's been really good up to this point, and I can't imagine the finale will be so bad that it made them cancel the show.

Finally finished Monster! Looks like my brother and I started watching it in...August last year. That show was a trip. I was greatly confused at several points, and there were still quite a few things I wanted to know more about when it was over, but I'm glad I watched it.

Also hoped to finish up Young Justice with Puffin tonight, but she is trapped on a bus with slow wi-fi.

Done with season 2 of Young Justice and have my fingers crossed for a third season. That last episode was an alright end to a season. Not so much for the end of a whole series.

JoJo part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable, began yesterday. Caught the first episode this morning. The art style caught me off guard. At first I thought I was watching a show-within-a-show, but then stuff started happening, and I realized it just looks like that. Not complaining by any means. It just surprised me.

Lately all my TV has been focused on Sunday night.

Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, Last Week Tonight, Last Man on Earth, and Bob's Burgers.

I wish Game of Thrones was better, but I'm happy Silicon Valley is still good.

Been watching old episodes of Batman the Animated Series on my own. Despite plenty of little things that were silly in hindsight, it's still a great time.

Finally gave RWBY a try. Got through the first season - which isn't saying much since the episodes so far average about 6 minutes each with a few exceptions. They do get a bit longer after this, more like 15 minutes per episode.

There was a bit of jankiness to some of the animation, but it didn't bother me too much, and I was expecting as much for the first bunch of episodes. Fight scenes are quite smooth and generally a joy to watch.

I expected the writing and acting to have even more jank than the animation, but I was pleasantly surprised in that regard. I quite enjoyed most of the dialogue and characterization.

The pacing was a little weird. It somehow felt both slow and fast at the same time, probably because I watched a whole season with multiple story arcs...that took less that two hours to get through. Should be less of an issue after this though.

I've been binge-ing a ton of TV shows lately.

Game of Thrones weekly

Got caught up on The Amazing Race (well, watched the latest five episodes...thanks, On Demand...) just in time for the finale this week

Been working through all of Survivor, but fell into the catch-22 of "should I wait for the gf to watch the next episode?" (Answer: probably not, since if the Amazing Race is almost done, so is Survivor)

Tried out episodes of a bunch of random things (Kids Baking Championship, Little Big Shots...) and a bunch of other random shows on the Cooking Channel

I also bought myself five seasons of Bones (not in order, though I've been watching them in order via Netflix) because the blu-rays were $10 each at FYE and I've wanted to own the show for a while now

Apparently I'm into space westerns lately. Started Firefly on Monday and Cowboy Bebop today. Both have been on my to-watch list for some time.

O.J. Simpson V The People was pretty good, don't know how much is factual because it felt like some things were added as far as dialogue to add drama. Otherwise very good.

Game of Thrones has been great.

Watched first season of iZombie. Friend made me watch it and it was better than I expected it to be.

Boku no Hero Academia- it's not bad, but Tiger and Bunny is much better. So if you really liked BnHA, you should go watch the two seasons of Tiger and Bunny while you wait for season 2 of BnHA.

Just started Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress- I like it. I can totally see where everyone calls it Attack on Titan 2.0 but it totally blows the other shows out of the water this past season.

Um... other than that, enjoyed the military massacre scenes in Gate about two seasons ago.

They deserved it. Trust me.

I watched the pilot for the new Voltron series today. I can't decide what to make of it. It's like 80's action cartoon kookiness has been modernized, which I suppose is exactly what this needed to be.

Started watching ERASED this evening. It's quite good. Consider this a general recommendation.

EDIT: And it's not at all the same situation, but there's an aspect of the show that keeps making me think of Case Closed/Detective Conan. Kamau should know what I'm talking about.

Shutter island is a great movie. Surprised Leonardo didn't get an Oscar for this film, he really acted his best in Shutter island to me
