Replaying Super Mario RPG and 999. I also played a bit of Earthbound yesterday.

Gave Viewtiful Joe a try. It's harder than I expected.
Man, I loved that game when I played through it. I tried a couple of times to play through it again, but was never able to get in to it. At least my memories are still amazing. Many style, so grace.
Just beat dragon age 2. I started it up a couple of days ago, since SHE owns the game. God damn Anders.
Damn Anders indeed. My Hawke ended up romancing him, and I actually was not aware of the major event with which he is involved. Since I usually play the lawful good types... well, let's just say I couldn't just let him go.
Though people in slack are actually pretty much always up to date with whatever I'm playing (cuz I uh.. talk about video games a lot), I'll post here anyway.
I just closed 7 Days to Die for the night. This is not a good game and I don't recommend it to anybody. But my friends are playing it, and one of them bought me a copy... so I am playing it. Sigh.
I've slowed down a bit on Majora's Mask 3D. I've cleared two of the major dungeons, and decided to spend a while seeing what masks and side quests I can find. I love the addition of the Bombers Notebook. In fact, I just love this game in general. Definitely one of my favorite Zeldas.
I'm kinda getting bored with Rebel Galaxy. It's still a pretty cool game, but rather repetitive. I'll probably still pick it up once in a while, though.
And I just started up Shadow of Mordor. We previously had this for the PS4, but I returned it. However, I got it for $2.49 on steam, so I have no regrets. I'm actually preferring it with the keyboard and mouse controls, because I'm dying a lot less. It's mainly because I can move the camera and use all of my action buttons at the same time. Something I really struggled with on the PS4 version (and PC, since I first started playing it with my 360 controller). I don't really think of this as a Lord of the Rings game, though. It's more of a slightly LOTR inspired grim-dark fantasy game, which is interesting in its own way. J.R.R. Tolkien probably wouldn't be too happy with it, though. Who knows.
The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

That's how I felt! It was really good. Short, but sweet. It didn't stay around too long.

I've gotten back into Depth lately. Mostly because I've got this weird craving to subject myself to a constant state of near-panic.
Also I'm not dead, so for anyone who had money on the line: ha-ha.

After seeing ProJared play it for a bit, I've decided to try out A Link to the Past Randomized, wherein all of the items are mixed around, and who can say what you'll get from a given chest or NPC whom you thought you knew. It's already madness, and I've barely started.

Gave up on my randomized run of A Link to the Past after I checked the spoiler file for my seed and realized that it's impossible to complete (I need the hammer to get to where the hammer is located). Now I'm having another go at Skyward Sword, which I apparently last played at the end of 2011.

A lot of Civ VI, which I love, and a little bit of World of Final Fantasy, which I enjoy.

I've been diving into The World of Final Fantasy. At first, I wasn't interested in even buying this game because I wasn't fond of the art style, but beneath it all is a very fun game that is fast paced. I don't know how many chapters there are, but I'm flying through them!
If Final Fantasy XV is even half as fun as this, it will still be four times more fun than the last Final Fantasy main series game.

As I mentioned in the Slack, I got my PS4 Pro on Thursday. I played through the prologue of inFamous: Second Son, but mostly I've just been playing a bunch of Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir. That game is pretty.

I finished World of Final Fantasy.
Here's the cliff notes version:
-The first ten hours are great!
-The next twenty or so are not so great...
-The last twenty hours are the best part of the game!
It leaves me feeling very mixed about the game. Lann and Reynn and Tama are all super annoying characters, and they never stop being annoying. The battle system is fun to play with, but ultimately, it boils down to using an overpowered spell, and fastforwarding through the battles and just pushing the triangle button.
It's an idea that could have been made great with balancing. No enemy in the game, is seemingly immune to gravity, and exploiting weaknesses becomes extremely easy if you have the right mirajewels from leveling up your monsters in a steady progression.
I'm not kidding when I say steady, this is the first RPG in a long time, that I have played and beaten, without having to even consider grinding. I never re-visited areas, and beat the game relatively underleveled. The system is easy to learn, easy to master, and doesn't lend itself to being creative.
I'm hoping Final Fantasy XV at the end of the month is better, because this, that I so bluntly said:
If Final Fantasy XV is even half as fun as this, it will still be four times more fun than the last Final Fantasy main series game.
No longer applies. If XV is half as fun as this, it will be a disaster. WoFF was still better than XIII, but the margin isn't as great as the first ten hours would have led me to believe. I give it a solid 7 or so, out of 10, maybe closer to a 6.5, actually.

I actually finished Ocarina of Time for the first uhh... time. For all of its faults, it was a rather decent game. I almost certainly will never play it again, but some of the later dungeons were challenging and interesting, which I never expected from the first few.
Now on to Majora's Mask, which I've also never completed. So far it's way better. Like it's not even a competition.

Pokemon Moon and Overwatch.
Moon is obviously amazing, so I won't prattle on about it, but Overwatch is the first FPS I have played in years that I do not hate, surprisingly. I enjoy playing it, especially when I'm playing as D.Va.
Well, that was a surprise.
