Yes, but we already have the PS3 version and didn't want to buy a second copy, and her sister didn't own a copy at all... XD

Though I am tempted while all the versions are $20. A little.

Just finished Wolfenstein: The New Order. Pretty good fora manshoot. Not sure I'll ever ever return to it, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

You should be playing Life is Strange, Vicious! xD Part 4 is coming out soon!

I'm playing Battlefield 4 atm, if I'm not playing that, it's Path of Exile.

VP and I played some Ori and the Blind Forest. It is a beautiful game! VP pointed out that when Ori jumps he resembles Mario's jumps.

I've been playing my Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. I've completed the Dex, but now I'm being anal and breeding to make sure I have one of each Pokemon. I love all my Pokemon!

Minecraft.

So.

Much.

Minecraft.

Today was spent with Tara in a world I built the other day. We spent the first half of the day getting completely lost in a cavern, and then she spent the second half of the day making a farm while I spent it building the base for what will be a freakishly large castle. :)

Going to try knocking a few games off my Steam backlog. So far Castle Crashers is pretty fun.

I put some hours in to System Shock 2. Not sure what prompted it, but I'm enjoying myself. I've been meaning to get around to playing this for forever.

Finally finished Witcher 3 and...what a ride. Easily takes the spot as my favorite game. I picked up the first two books about mid way through the and while you definitely don't need to know the past history of some of the characters it was pretty neat to see them pop up after reading about them. Definitely going to come back to this one a second time once they release some expansions, either as a NG+ (if they do that) or with a new start.

Now to play some Elite: Dangerous

my sherbert orange gamecube controller came....the same day i found the one i thought i lost! i bought a special zelda wii-u gamecube controller to play oot on wii because i though "awesome, i dont need to spend a jillion dollars on a wavebird" NOPE. the wii disables the sensor bar when gamecube mode is activated, so my brilliant plan to not have to move the wii went down on its face.

Yet more Minecraft. My castle is plugging along, but today was spent digging as long a hallway as I could (I stopped when I dug through the next space and nearly fell into an insanely deep chasm. Then Tara and I spent the next hour or so exploring the chasm. I may continue digging through on the other side, since my goal was to go until I couldn't go anymore.

I also started Tomb Raider the other day. Tara keeps making fun of me because I'm terrible with the action commands. -_-

Highlands is proving to be an enjoyable turn-based strategy game, with a similar feeling to Risk. Makes my laptop run really hot after a while though...

EDIT: And the art kinda makes me think of of Banner Saga, but with less animation.

So Highlands. When I tried to find video reviews, I just got let's plays and first impressions. The guy I did watch complained about it being way too hard. Apparently this was a bigger problem in earlier versions, so they added "Casual" difficulty, and the guy still said it was too much.

I'm playing on Normal, and yeah, it definitely makes you think about each move you take, but I've yet to hit any roadblocks several levels past the point he was complaining about. Whoever this fellow was, he needs to git gud.

Dunno why, but I just needed to rant about that a bit.

Found my "nes" that had my legitimate earthbound zero in it. i found pippi on the second try, and left the other two coffins there, then i went to the zoo and heard the second melody and realized i missed the first one, basically leaving this other girl to die by zombie

Went back to Trails in the Sky and finished off chapter 1.

I rather like the setting. It still has castles and guards with swords and whatnot, but then there's also telephones (including one mysterious cell phone) and basically airplanes. It's a nice change from the standard fare for games like this.

I've been playing Marvel Heroes lately.

Rocket Raccoon is an overpowered bastard, and I love it. Squirrel Girl is also OP as hell. ATTACK EVERYTHING WITH MASSIVE SQUIRREL ARMY, MISSION COMPLETE.

Castle is coming along well in Minecraft. Tara helped me level out the hillside I built it on. Still working on the first layer but I've almost got the outside of it done. Then we're going to work together to decide how to design the interior. Tara wants to take point on the library and the treasury, which is fine by me. :)

Had waaay too much free time at work today, so I decided to finally try out some of the RPGs I got years ago for free on the Amazon App store.

Eve of the Genesis is pretty average. It kinda feels like an early but decent RM game.

Illusia is a side scrolling action RPG that reminded me a little of Maple Story. I only got as far as the tutorial because the jumping feels really bad.

Symphony of Eternity is made by the same people that did Eve of the Genesis, but it uses point-and-click controls instead of an on-screen d-pad for movement. Both games have pretty portrait art, but I didn't care for the controls in this one.

Zenonia 2 is similarly made by the same people who did Illusia, except this one is a top-view action RPG. And just as with their other game, I didn't like the feel of the controls, so I didn't play long.

So far, my verdict on mobile RPGs stands at "unimpressed."

Aren't those all Kemco games?

I like the idea behind them but they all end up just being meh RPG Maker games but on a phone.
